Didn't realise we had an open top bus parade after losing. Was this normal in those days?

The town hall balcony is a dreadful spot for a celebration.
I’d use the ground but there has to be better in town.

Wales had one in 2016 and they didn't get to the finals in Euro 2016.claptrappers_union wrote: ↑Tue May 05, 2020 5:37 pmDidn't realise we had an open top bus parade after losing. Was this normal in those days?

We complained about the poor effort in 2014 with the town hall and not much else so they did the same thing in 2016. It's an awful spot. We should have done what Leicester did and take it into a park.Tricky Trevor wrote: ↑Tue May 05, 2020 5:39 pmThe town hall balcony is a dreadful spot for a celebration.

I get that because they are 'minnows' in comparison. Burnley were a 1st Division side and had won the league recently, in fact I think we came 2nd that season?Ashingtonclaret46 wrote: ↑Tue May 05, 2020 5:42 pmWales had one in 2016 and they didn't get to the finals in Euro 2016.
Anyway, it might've been more of a tradition back then, these days we'd be laughed out if Proudsville if we celebrated being in a final like that these days.

I notice they couldn't identify the difference between of and off even back then, when education standards were supposed to be superior to those of today.

The bandstand in Scott park, with the fans to the south looking down would be good. General William's Landlord might agree. Car parking would be an issue though.
