Do you know how many league goals we've scored this millennium? Do you know who has scored them? I didn't either but was prompted by the Scunthorpe game to take a look.

That’s a fascinating list with some really forgotten(and sometimes forgettable) names

I'm shocked Ian Moore is so high on that list. Didn't think he'd scored anything like that many

I'd forgotten all about John Oster.

Now I have to live with the memory of John Oster all over again.

A player who was bought by Everton from Grimsby reserves. A player who went on to have a respectable career but seemed to flit from brilliance to antipathy. A real enigma but undoubtedly talented.

Also a bit surprised to see Chris McCann scored as many as he did

We offered him a deal in summer 2005 but he went to Reading and then Palace before Doncaster. Played almost 500 league games. Kendall signed him at Everton when he was just 18.

3 for Paul McVeigh. Would never have guessed that!

He did well when he came in. Cotterill was considering signing him that summer but then a better alternative at Leeds cane available - Robbie Blake.

I think it's fair to say, signing Blake instead was a good decision. And to think Leeds fans thought he was rubbish

Cotterill said Blake was the best player he ever worked with and as soon as he knew he had a chance of getting him back in he was always going to do what he could to get the deal done. McVeigh wasn’t a bad player though.

Funnily enough, the attached video popped up on my You Tube feed today. Some very good goals from Moore.

That goal at Bradford was particularly crucial. Not sure we'd have stopped up that season without that.

The one on 7 minutes, at Hillsborough, was exquisite. Ian Moore at hus best. Shame he couldn’t get a consistency to his game.

Cracking goal that. Plenty of very decent goals on that video. Love the finish on the Turf against Preston when the keeper comes out, very clever
