Software for crowd chants/songs is already available if our son and daughter's Fifa game is anything to go off. Dad, dad, come and watch this goal I've just scored. I think I prefer the sound of silence.

I do wonder if they might consider something like this for games, whilst crowds are not allowed in.

It wouldn’t be too difficult, I’d assume, to string together sounds from previous games - though of course you couldn’t get crowd responses to on pitch events in real time.

It’d surely be better than just the sounds of the players shouts echoing around an empty stadium! It’d be like watching ore season friendlies or a Scotland international!!

I saw on the news that one German club were getting pictures from fans and using them in life size as if sat in the seats to make it look like there was a crowd, from the bit I saw it looked effective and for TV with cameras might make it look much better than an empty stadium. If you can add some singing from the PA you never know it might look not to bad at all, certainly like that they are thinking and trying to make it look better.
