Dele Ali

Post by Funkydrummer » Thu May 14, 2020 9:48 pm

Suffered a burglary at his home address.

When questioned, and asked if they had taken any medals or silverware, he replied :-

"It's bad enough being burgled without you taking the p!ss"

“Did they take any silverware Dele?”

“Didn’t get as far as the kitchen mate”

He tried to run away and managed about a foot before he fell over it.

I detect a touch of schadenfreude in the posts so far... should I say a less than sympathetic delight in "The Alli's" misfortune 😁

It was reported he'd been punched during the attack. They obviously didn't slap him hard enough, seeing as he was back in training the day after. I'd still be punching his face when my knuckles were bleeding. Horrible little turd.

England footballer Alli gets one-game suspension for Snapchat post

Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli has been suspended for one match by the Football Association over a social media post about coronavirus.

The England international, 24, put a video on Snapchat in February in which he joked about the outbreak and appeared to mock an Asian man.

Alli has been fined £50,000, ordered to undertake an education course, and will miss Spurs' match at home to Manchester United on 19 June.

"In response to the FA decision, I would like to apologise again for any offence caused by my behaviour," he said. "It was an extremely poorly judged joke about a virus that has now affected us more than we could ever have imagined.

"I'm grateful that The FA has confirmed that my actions were not racist because I despise racism of any kind. We all need to be mindful of the words and actions we use and how they can be perceived by others."

Stupid boy as Captain Mainwaring would say.

Ask the FA, i'm just the messenger, are you suggesting the fact he's an England international, and plays for a high-profile London team had any bearing on their decision, surely not.

At last some common sense.
I hope others take a lead from the FA.
It is possible to mock someone of a different colour without being branded a racist.
