No... root canal is required I attended today the criteria being if your still in pain after earlier anti biotics didnt kick in.I was also offered the choice of extraction. So.....the nerve removed today and the hole filled. Now awaiting the root canal work when the tooth settles down.

understand that, no idea how bad your toothache is or where your dentist is, but looks like most practices are re opening soon with strict guidelines in place.

It's not bad stuff dentogel, I find orajel more effective containing benzocaine it does really numb it albeit fades too fast , for exposed cavities you cannot underestimate the importance of warm salt water rinses to clean & promote healing.
