What a team that was 81/82 a mixture of youth and experience
Overson was a big loss the next season and the fact we could not strengthen, cost us. A few additions in the right areas and we would have been ok.

Happy Birthday...you're sacked. I know that business and sentiment don't necessarily go hand in hand but...
I always liked Miller and he was worthy of more than one England cap but given the competition for places at that time, it perhaps wasn't surprising. One club footballers/coaches/managers are a rarity and given that the loyalty of most players these days is influenced by their bank balances, it's hard to imagine any players these days being anything like Brian Miller.
I was fortunate to met him on a few occasions and he was the perfect gentleman.
