Wasn't the comment "the aim is to have all refunds processed by the 26th" rather than it will all be done and dusted ?

Might be first world to you. Third world to me. I was relying on that money to go to Aldi today so that we could eat next week.
Off to food bank again now.

It was, but have any refunds been processed yet? I applied for my refund within minutes of the link to apply becoming live on the website, and I've not received my refund yet.claretonthecoast1882 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 26, 2020 9:44 amWasn't the comment "the aim is to have all refunds processed by the 26th" rather than it will all be done and dusted ?
But another £37.91 has been taken from my account today, for next season's ticket.
Re: ARTICLE: Burnley confirm ticket refunds
CT posted this a couple if days ago....
Update from Burnley FC
Over the past week Burnley Football Club has begun the refund process for those 2019/20 season ticket holders who unfortunately will not be able to attend the final four homes games of the Premier League season.
The cash value of the four games now being played behind closed doors was automatically refunded back onto seasoncards in the form of points, allowing supporters the greatest range of options of what they wished to do with their refund value:
Keep the value of points on your seasoncard and redeem them against future Clarets Store or Ticket purchases
Donate to Youth Development
Request the points value be transferred into a cash value and paid back onto supporters bank card.
The club has now set a deadline of Tuesday 30th June for ‘option 3’; those wanting to request the refund back as a card payment, to allow the club to focus on getting this administered as quickly as possible for supporters.
Please remember that the value of the four games you missed is now on your seasoncards as points. These will not expire until 2021, so if you do not want the refund back as a payment these points will still be available to use towards purchases in the Clarets Store or towards a future season ticket. If you request a card refund payment these points will be taken off your seasoncard and will no longer be available.
We have also been receiving numerous queries regarding when those requested payment refunds will arrive. Don't worry, we have all your applications and ask for patience as we get through these. It is an extremely large project and due to Government guidelines we are still running to a restricted number of staff in all areas of the business. We aim to get through all requested refund payments as soon as possible.
Thank you for your patience and support.

If you can get down to the ticket office they will refund it there and then I believe. I know a couple of people who did that.
Re: ARTICLE: Burnley confirm ticket refunds
Left mine on my card could be sixty plus quid we would otherwise be short of when negotiating with Dyche for an extension.

Thanks for the tip.
However, I live in South Manchester and can't afford to travel.
Local food bank have sorted me out though.
That £89 would have really helped.

We haven't though, have we? The club advised they would aim to provide refunds by today. I've not received a refund, and I applied within minutes of the link to apply becoming live.
Assuming refunds are being processed in order of when applications were made (probably not), I'd be surprised if anyone has received a refund via this method yet.

Re: ARTICLE: Burnley confirm ticket refunds
I've not received a refund, they have taken the money for next season's card and no points have been
added to my "season card" or "team card", despite applying within minutes of the link being posted.
Can anyone explain the similarity, difference and/or link between " season card" and "team card" ?

Re: ARTICLE: Burnley confirm ticket refunds
Just checked mine this morning as got a text from the bank to say a payment had gone in.
Looks like they’ve paid me for 12 times as many as they should. Perhaps incorrectly refunded a years worth of payments.
I’ve emailed the club to let them know. Should be with them by 26th July.

Re: ARTICLE: Burnley confirm ticket refunds
I've not seen the refund but managed to log into the teamcard site (never heard of or used before) and did say refund in process. Thanks for the heads up on that.
A direct debit has been taken for next season but surely they would be better off pausing these too?

There is a 14 digit number on your season card ... this is the team card number .......Funkydrummer wrote: ↑Sat Jun 27, 2020 7:47 amI've not received a refund, they have taken the money for next season's card and no points have been

Re: ARTICLE: Burnley confirm ticket refunds
When you first got a Team Card (they were introduced in 2014) the details of the website would have been on the info you received with the card. There’s also an app which has now stopped working.Awayfromburnley wrote: ↑Sat Jun 27, 2020 7:05 pmI've not seen the refund but managed to log into the teamcard site (never heard of or used before) and did say refund in process. They said they were continuing with 2020/21 payments but gave you the option to stop the payments.

It's quite poor to be honest. The latest email I received advised that the aim was to have the majority of the refunds processed by last Thursday. I applied within minutes of the link becoming live on the website.

I don’t think anyone has had a refund either. Problem seems to have been the the person who said 26th June didn’t check that the date was feasible.
Re: ARTICLE: Burnley confirm ticket refunds
Nobody can defend the club on this, it is pathetic. An absolute joke. This isn't your local corner shop refunding you , or a small local business. This is a MULTI million pound Premier League football club. No excuses for this money not to have been in everyone account by last week - all this, well we have just got back into the office is a load of crap - they should have had people working from home and processing these as they come in. Instead they were happy to sit on the money and get the interest.

To show how far behind this club is, I know somebody who was lucky enough to win the annual draw. He had to have the £12,000 in monthly installments which were sent by cheque in the post. They were often late and the guy had to ring them to chase the money!

Not that many amazingly Tony. We were certainly in the Premier League at the time.
