Re: ARTICLE: Burnley confirm ticket refunds
You might be better ringing or emailing the club for the answer with it being their system.herbatlerbat wrote: ↑Fri Jun 12, 2020 9:46 amJust tried to claim my refund and when I put my bank account details in it removes the first 2 digits because they are 00

Re: ARTICLE: Burnley confirm ticket refunds
For people that have paid by direct debit, why is the club asking for bank account details to be inputted? They have that information already.

Gives you the option of having it paid into a different account. Even if the same account, the new security rules would at least mean them asking for the Correct name on the account.Sean Dyche's Watch wrote: ↑Fri Jun 12, 2020 11:50 amFor people that have paid by direct debit, why is the club asking for bank account details to be inputted? Re: ARTICLE: Burnley confirm ticket refunds
I had exactly the same problem herbatler. I e-mailed Elaine at the ticket office this morning (ticketoffice@burnleyfc.com )with my details and full account no. and she replied straight back saying that the refund was being assigned to the correct account no. Excellent customer service!herbatlerbat wrote: ↑Fri Jun 12, 2020 9:46 amJust tried to claim my refund and when I put my bank account details in it removes the first 2 digits because they are 00

Are we supposed to get an email confirming a refund has been requested?

Don’t think so no.Sean Dyche's Watch wrote: ↑Fri Jun 12, 2020 12:22 pmThanks, makes sense.

But you do get confirmation on the site at the end of the refund submission which says thanks and that it will be processed.

Re: ARTICLE: Burnley confirm ticket refunds
When it says "we have already applied the pro-rata value of the games you have missed to your season card for use against purchases in the club shop or next season's season ticket"
How does this work if you pay by direct debit ? I mean the "next season's season ticket bit.

Re: ARTICLE: Burnley confirm ticket refunds
Take it we put multiple ST on the same form?
Re: ARTICLE: Burnley confirm ticket refunds
If you are already paying for your next season ticket by Direct Debit you won't be able to use the refund to help pay for your season ticket but once the refund has gone onto your season card you can use the value either in the club shop or to purchase home cup or away tickets for next season. If this arrangement doesn't suit you, you have the further options of donating the value to the club's Youth Development or getting a cash refund.claretandy wrote: ↑Fri Jun 12, 2020 2:29 pmWhen it says "we have already applied the pro-rata value of the games you have missed to your season card for use against purchases in the club shop or next season's season ticket"

As you need to put your membership number on the form, you'll need a separate form for each number.

I would do them one by one. I had two to do but applied separately.

Re: ARTICLE: Burnley confirm ticket refunds
If there was half a chance of us having a decent cup run then i would leave it on the card, but you have to use it by june 2021. Refund it is then.Leisure wrote: ↑Fri Jun 12, 2020 3:21 pmIf you are already paying for your next season ticket by Direct Debit you won't be able to use the refund to help pay for your season ticket but once the refund has gone onto your season card you can use the value either in the club shop or to purchase home cup or away tickets for next season. think you are able to use the refund to pay for 2021/2022 season ticket when that is offered about March 2021Leisure wrote: ↑Fri Jun 12, 2020 3:21 pmIf you are already paying for your next season ticket by Direct Debit you won't be able to use the refund to help pay for your season ticket but once the refund has gone onto your season card you can use the value either in the club shop or to purchase home cup or away tickets for next season. Re: ARTICLE: Burnley confirm ticket refunds
I'm of the opinion that away fans will be banned for the whole of the season in 2020-2021.
Re: ARTICLE: Burnley confirm ticket refunds
I hope it's just away fans if it's deemed to be not safe but things can change quickly.
You are clearly alluding to home fans not being allowed in and i think we won't see any full houses but we will get a few sell outs.

Re: ARTICLE: Burnley confirm ticket refunds
Is there anywhere you can see the amount of refund due

ClaretTony wrote: ↑Sat Jun 13, 2020 4:04 pmThere is. If you login to your TeamCard account you will see it has been added into there. But as wilks_bfc posted it is 4/19 of what you paid.
Thanks for that
How do you access the TeamCard.
Is it the same login used to purchase tickets

You have to register separately. There’s an app too but that’s not working.

Re: ARTICLE: Burnley confirm ticket refunds
I've done mine and 2 kids.
The form just felt a bit weird and unusual to submit full bank details online like that. I had to input the kids details but my bank account details.

Re: ARTICLE: Burnley confirm ticket refunds
They have the bank details from which all the direct debits have been made from.
I am surprised they didnt just pay them back into the same. Normally with retailers insist refunds are to the same account as payment has been made

Not everyone pays by direct debit - and some will have paid cash.
