Clarets Store

Post by cl40 » Sat May 23, 2020 8:20 am

I’ve purchased some items online from the clarets store and need to return some as they don’t fit. I’ve been told these need to be posted back, I’m wondering why I can’t just drop these at the club as the postman would do?

The club shop isn’t open. Your items would have been sent out from a distribution centre.

I’m aware the shop isn’t open, it’s online orders only. not sure about the distribution centre though, have to post it back to the store?

Good point, well put. Nothing wrong with your logic at all.

However, postman Pat is only one person being put at risk and putting others at risk. Whereas if
everyone returned their items in person, then that risk is increased.

Well done for managing to order something from the Clarets Store online. That is an achievement in itself.

Over the last couple of weeks I have made three purchases online, and after a small problem on my first attempt which was due to my account not showing anything in the country part of the address, I have to say the service has been excellent. Orders received between two and four days from ordering.

I also had a similar positive experience, no problems ordering, delivery within the timeframe promised.

I am not criticising the delivery service as this is usually a good turnaround from point of placing order. My issue is the clunkiness of the website. It is not up to the standard one would expect from a Premier League football club.

What happens to all the stock that is not sold ?
Binned , burned or buried .

I am sure at any final where you have for example Stoke City FA Cup winners 2021 they would be burnt if they lost ?
Would make a great talking point if you had on wearing down the pub after the game

If I return the item via Hermes which is probably the cheapest option the chances are it will be a delivery driver delivering a single item to the club which seems strange that I can’t just drop it off myself?

I made a purchase from the on line shop, which I had to return, I did so via Royal Mail.
Got my refund within 14 days, no problems.
If you don't want to pay to return, email the club to see if you can hold onto the item until the stores reopen.....it might not be all that long now.
