Such a shame families won’t be able to celebrate together this year.

Absolutely, it'll be very tough not being able to celebrate with family and friends like normal :(

As like everything else during this pandemic, there will be stories and experiences to speak about for years to come.

If one of my colleagues is anything to go by some families will be celebrating together.

After today, think Dyche will abandon the right wing :( Simply too vague and flobby.

Kher Mubarak

Hope everybody has a blessed day - is first time I haven’t been able to spend it with family for any longer than a 5 minute socially distanced wave and natter.

It’s tough but has to be done - unheard of before this that the prayers each night and more so the Eid prayer at a mosque or park etc has not been done.

A mate just left me a bag off all sorts of delights on my doorstep. More than half of it vegetarian friendly so my mrs is delighted.

It won't be worse than what went on VE day up and down the UK. At least they are family and indoors.

Sounds like the family next door to me are paying no attention to the current lockdown guidelines

My family have been quite strict with self isolating (as can practically be) and I just knocked on their door and stood a distance away so I could have a little natter with them in person for the first time in about 3 months. It was nice to see them but also hard not to just give them a hug etc...

I know same here , but witnessed shocking behaviour at street parties on VE day and from talking to people it was the same everywhere.

People sharing hot tubs with neighbours and going in each others houses was the tip of the iceberg. Same lemmings were out clapping on Thursday evening though the week after.

Neighbours sharing hot tubs would be a bit vom even in normal times.

We've had some hypocritical clappers on our lane and it's made me and my wife feel a bit icky. You know, clapping with the same people who've basically not given a toss about the lockdown rules. I can't bide hypocrisy.

The majority of the country don't give toss. The only people I know who have truly kept themselves in isolation are the old people.

It is all about using your common sense and if you don't have any, well its tough

I think it's a real positive sign that Muslim supporting Claretas are on this board and sending good wishes out to all. Hope you have a great day.

I guess these families are just acting on ‘instinct’.

Thanks. Hope all those celebrating had a good time. I just got off a nightshift in the hospital. First Eid without the family, never felt the same. Shame that not everyone listens to the lockdown advice, but we will leave that debate for the other forum.

Asking for a friend . Erm where would one need to buy a house where the neighbours are all sharing hot tubs ?
