Transfer rumour: Bryan Linssen
A bit of normality for everyone! Burnley linked to a foreign player that we won’t be signing. I’ve never heard of him but he’s got a decent goal scoring record for a winger.

He is already in claret and blue - good sign?

Captain too. Are we signing leaders these days.
Re: Transfer rumour: Bryan Linssen
Only 30 years young too-so he will be in his prime as a goalkeeper. Suppose being a freebie will attract many to him

So nice to have a non-Covid/Cummings thread.
Looks decent on the video. Lennon replacement, perhaps.
Free and 30, might be something in this...

I'm sure that I've read somewhere that we are interested in a guy who plays in Turkey.
Striker, if I remember rightly.

Re: Transfer rumour: Bryan Linssen
The highlights seem to show him playing on the left or centre forward?
What I did like that would benefit us was the runs he made direct from the keeper kicking out or flick ons. It's an area we need to improve on could use Pope's long kicking to our advantage for a change.

I noticed those runs in behind. Hard to know if that is a specific style or just coincidence the 5 or so goals they showed him scoring happened to be those occasions. Agree we could take good advantage of Pope’s long kicks and hope SD is looking to evolve our style like that so we don’t become too predictable.Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Tue May 26, 2020 12:58 pmThe highlights seem to show him playing on the left or centre forward?

Wouldn’t object to cover for Dwight and the option to play him more centrally on occasion.
Bryan Linssen
Being linked in the Burnley express with the 29 year old centre forward. Don't know anything about him it but seems he'll be on a free.
