But it won’t be City away for first match as they are playing a catch up match

They are playing the outstanding games and then planning to start on the following weekend - I'm assuming they will stick with the fixtures as they wereGuitargeorge wrote: ↑Thu May 28, 2020 3:30 pmBut it won’t be City away for first match as they are playing a catch up match

I see Hungary are allowing fans back in.
A good sign that we will be able to next season if everything goes well.

Positive news. What’s not to like. Summer football on free to air tv every couple of days. And working at home.

Re: Season restart
Not sure where you've got the free to air from - 47 of the remaining games are already allocated to Sky & BT. Both of them and Amazon are likely to bid for the other 45 although there is a suggestion that a small number could be on BBC.cricketfieldclarets wrote: ↑Thu May 28, 2020 3:51 pmPositive news. Just got back from a bike ride. I’m the time I’ve been out there’s been 3 pages of posts about Dominic Cummings and 12 posts about the restart of the premier league
Brilliant news. Slightly annoying that City will have a game under their belts by the time we play them!

Re: Season restart
No - Amazon have already had all their allocated games. They had two full game weeks, the first was the midweek in early December when we played Man City at home and then Boxing Day.huw.Y.WattfromWare wrote: ↑Thu May 28, 2020 4:06 pmWasn't one of the Easter BHs given over in entirety to Amazon as with Boxing Day?

I read that there is a problem staging matches at Burnley because of the inadequate away dressing room. It's not big enough.claretburns wrote: ↑Thu May 28, 2020 5:03 pmArticle suggests home and away for most games but some high profile games at neutral venues after request from police.

Hopefully not too long before we're all back on the Turf.

Re: Season restart
With no fans in the stands, the club could always arrange additional changing room space for the away team. Temporary arrangements, of course, but could provide the social distancing space (I assume) they will still require in the dressing room. Will the teams be allowed to shower at the ground, after the game, or will they be travelling home in their kit? I'm sure socially distanced shower facilities can also be arranged, somewhere.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Thu May 28, 2020 5:33 pmI read that there is a problem staging matches at Burnley because of the inadequate away dressing room. I know I've posted once or twice about the "punter pays" charity game I played in at Stamford Bridge. One of the things I was keen to experience was a Premier League dressing rooms.... But, they put is all in some porta-cabins at the back of one of the stands. Not quite what I was hoping for.
EDIT: Looking at CP's post and the link, appears there should be no issue with away dressing room at Turf Moor.

At the moment, not that excited tbh. May change when the season gets into full swing. I would have preferred it cancelled then restarted properly in August. Kind of got used to the peace and quiet.

Being ~ 3/4 of the season had already been completed, I think they felt they needed to complete it. Going to be weird without fans but personally glad they are doing this....casualclaret wrote: ↑Thu May 28, 2020 6:24 pmAt the moment, not that excited tbh. If our dressing rooms are substandard you would have thought we could knock up some kind of temporary facility, a portakabin or similar.

Re: Season restart
We should be able to put a temp dressing room in the new disabled facilities or even exec boxes for the away team.
We should make use of both changing rooms. They might have enough showers for everyone to have one each.

Have the club considered using the cricket club or the gym to keep the teams apart?
