So When We Get Going, Who Do You Think/Want To Go Down?
I think the current bottom 3 won't change, and we'll be seeing the back of Norwich, Villa and Bournemouth.
But hopefully, Brighton and West Ham will collapse.
Don't care about the third place.

Watford, for their hire em & fire em owners.
WHU, for the corrupt stadium deal.
BHA, they’ve forgotten all about the bucket collections and are so far up themselves.

Yes given that we're virtually safe it's a shame that 5 or 6 can't be relegated.
I think it will be:
Norwich
Villa
Brighton
But hope it could be

West Ham

Watford because I really really really hate Nigel Ostrich Pearson.
Brighton because I really really really hate their entitled, plastic fans.
WHU can survive for me because they're always good for a home win.
Villa are a decent club and I think Dean Smith is good guy.
Bournemouth are harmless, although it would be interesting to see how they'd cope financially with relegation. Also good for a home win usually.
Norwich I would have liked to have stayed up as they seem sensibly run like us, but they're gone.

Villa could be in a financial hole if they go down
West Ham just because it would be amusing and I don't think they'd bounce straight back up.
Not overly fussed after that, but it's probably going to be Watford or Norwich.

I hope Bournemouth go down, not because I have any dislike for them or Eddie, but because it will prove a point to the black cloud chasing, why don't we play sexy football, what no £25 million signing bell ends that we have had on here every time we have gone through a sticky patch or when a transfer window has been open.
And Villa as well, see how Heaton likes a 'different style of football' in the Championship.
Ideally though, it would be Brighton, West Ham and Man Utd.

Utterly bizarre dig at Heaton.
Sending Brighton down on the last day would be next level.

Re: So When We Get Going, Who Do You Think/Want To Go Down?
Newcastle, (I could give several reasons).
West Ham, UK paid for and it stinks.
Villa. Money - doing it the gamblers way.
a close 4th option Brighton. Just because I can't stand them.
All 3 more threats if they stay up.
I actually want Norwich to string 4 wins together and some draws and scrape it staying up. Sadly I don't think will happen.

Would love to see Villa go, really love it. Don’t like Brighton much but don’t care either way for anybody else down there. Would love to see the guy who thinks he’s the best player in the world get relegated again too. Didn’t used to mind Villa either- can’t really explain my irrational dislike for the financial cheats...

Of 22 Bundeslegue home games only 4 have wins.
If this was mirrored in the Premier league it could throw some strange results into the mix.

I too was thinking that Top Claret. We beat City, Pool away but lose to Narwich Watford and Brighton.
Re: So When We Get Going, Who Do You Think/Want To Go Down?
I would like to see Watford, Brighton and W Ham go down because they all think they're bigger and better than what they really are.
Unfortunately I think it will be Norwich, Villa and one of the above. I just have a feeling Bournemouth will play their way out of trouble.

Re: So When We Get Going, Who Do You Think/Want To Go Down?
I expect Norwich to go down with Bournemouth. I don't know if mccann is fit. If he is then villa should stay up probably at the expense of Brighton.
I hope to see the back of west ham, Watford and villa now that Palace are safe.
I really want to see Liverpool, man United, west ham and Donald trump, Cummings, McDonald's, costas, religion in schools and drug abuse all gone, but have to be a bit realistic.

I'm not bothered to be honest as long as we stay up, keep solvent and keep our players.

Just looked at the table. Forgot that Leicester are in 3rd spot.
To go down it has to be Villa, West Ham & Watford for me. I really do hope Norwich win two on the bounce and make a spectacle of it.

Re: So When We Get Going, Who Do You Think/Want To Go Down?
West Ham: plenty of reasons, in summary: Awful away day now in that stadium, literally sold their soul; and would love to see the owners get relegated after promising Champions league. Feel sorry for their fans, always found them a decent bunch.
Brighton- Do any of them remember the withdean and bucket collections? It appears not. Arrogant beyond belief. However on the plus side they appear to have 'stolen' all of MK Don's potential 30,000 new fans from London...
Newcastle- yeah the fans are okay I suppose, but I've always preferred the mackems. And this new ownership with the Saudis doesnt look pleasant ( I accept that they're not alone in having dodgy owners, but this one looks tricky to justify). Oh and our games against them are always dull as hell.

Re: So When We Get Going, Who Do You Think/Want To Go Down?
Norwich are gone-they realistically need to win 5 games out of 9,can't see that happening.
Out of the remaining 5 i'd like Brighton & West Ham to drop.
Brighton's run-in's pretty horrendous they play a lot of the teams contending for Europe, the 4 games they'll be looking for points are Norwich (a) Southampton (a) Newcastle (H) Burnley (a) it'd be worth the wait just to send them packing on the final day.
West Ham's run-in's pretty tough as well, their best chance of points look like Newcastle (a) Burnley (H) Norwich (a) and their last 2 home matches caught my eye Watford & Villa talk about 6 pointers.
Villa have a tough run-in on paper, but the return of John McGinn could make the difference for them.
Bournemouth's run-in looks reasonable and they have 5 home games left, that could prove vital, their home form's pretty decent from what i recall it's on the road they struggle.
Watford's run-in would appeal to me if i was a relegation struggler, and they've also got 5 home games left.
If i had to pick i'd go for Brighton and Villa, but i can see it going right to the wire.
Bournemouth and Watford will just do enough to scramble clear.
I can see that West Ham-Villa game being winner stays up, and the loser joining Norwich and Brighton in the Champ. Home advantage just swings it towards West Ham, but it'll be tense.
I'm just glad we managed to hit form when we did, otherwise this last couple of months would have been torture.
Also good to see more footy threads appearing in the last few days.

I think Norwich have gone ...
I think Villa and Bournemouth will go. However, I'd like West Ham and Brighton to go .... Brighton courtesy of a 3-0 defeat on the final day, at Turf Moor, to be relegated, on goal difference, by a single goal, with Jay Rodriguez scoring three minutes into stoppage time ....

I think Norwich are gone unfortunately, as out of the teams struggling they be the one I wouldn't mind staying up. But another 2 from Norwich at this moment has to be Brighton and West Ham for me, another vote from me to send Brighton down on the final day, just a shame we can't be there to celebrate their misery.

Re: So When We Get Going, Who Do You Think/Want To Go Down?
Agreed, there'll be some odd results because of the different (previously not encountered for many years for most players) lack of atmosphere + the long break. Teams that were on poor runs can get themselves a fresh start and teams that were on a good roll (us included) will have lost some of the momentum.
Unfortunately I think Norwich are too far behind, though the odds on a recovery have shortened a bit with the break I think.
I'd like Bournemouth to go down- simply because I put a pre-season bet on that happening and would like some winnings. I also think some of their players are looking to get away and have lost some motivation.
I'd like B&HA to be the 3rd team but think Villa might be the ones to go (and I wouldnt be disappointed much with that alternative).

The 'big' clubs will still win at home in the Premier League - our 'professional' referees will remind themselves that they will have to go to Old Trafford, Anfield, etc. in front of a full house when the fans eventually return|

with an Ashley Barnes hattrick - that would send their board into a nuclear level meltdown and probably take as long to recover
Re: So When We Get Going, Who Do You Think/Want To Go Down?
Two teams who I think will get relegated are Norwich & Villa.
Simply because both managers lack the tactical ability to grind out results. Both sides seem to be too open and can't rely on scoring one goal to win a game.
