Quite surprised to.see that Adrian Randall played 125 games for us.

Must admit I was but the one that surprised me even more was Mark Winstanley over 150.

Do you think Pender would have been a better bet than him in the Championship season under Mullen? Hard to recall now but we didn't really seem to strengthen with our signings

An up and down decade the '90s, though 91-92 is still the greatest season ever. At the time. living in the South of England with young kids I went to more away games than home and my over-riding feeling is that we were inconsistent and very fragile away from home . One of Sean Dyche's many achievements has been to make us a much more likely bet to perform away from home in recent years ...memory might be playing tricks but I just seem to remember a lot of very disappointing car journeys in the 1990s.

To be fair I didn't think Winstanley was that bad but the signings that summer following the play off win were just not good enough overall. It knocked us back considerably.
