Re: Favourite away pub
Went in the Blue Bell nr Roker Park, Sunderland on many occasions when they played there, remember it to be quite a " lively " pub.

Re: Favourite away pub
Too many to pick just one, but lots of good answers already.
Surprised not to see a few of these:
Magic Rock, The Grove (both Huddersfield)
Sheffield Tap, Hillsborough Hotel, Beer Engine (all Sheffield)
Post Office Vaults (Birmingham)
and last but not least...
Charters Bar (Peterborough) - on an old dutch barge, complete with thai restaurant above!!!
God, I'm missing a decent away day trip!!!!

Although I was always one of the drivers I always looked forward to stopping off at The Duke Of Leeds in New Mill on the way to Sheffield,Barnsley Rotherham or Chesterfield.
Always a friendly welcome & good banter.
It's a bloody damn curry house now...shame

The Castle at Doncaster was a good pub if you caught train and fancied a beer in the town centre. Karaoke, strippers, meat raffle and spirit prices that made Smacks look posh

If we ever play Millwall again, then you'll be ideally placed for the Bermondsey beer mile

The Drayton Park near the Emirates is an absolute **** hole, not to mention an awful selection of beverages!

Enjoyed a Lytham St Anne’s pub crawl back when we played against Blackpool.

On our last trip to Newcastle,I came across the Head of Steam in Durham and would recommend it for anyone who likes their ale.
