To be honest Hibs one of my favourite white wines is a good, dry white Frankenwein from the Franconia/North Bavaria region. You may have seen them, they come in what's known as a Bocksbeutel, which is a bottle shaped rather like a Mateus Rose bottle. The production is not great so they tend not to export too much of it: if you come across some, try it, it's a very good, dry and crisp white wine.
