An outstanding record of games played, must have looked after himself to keep so fit, RIP.

I remember a game at Old Trafford, Steve Kindon was in blistering form in the first half, tearing United apart, in the second half the Utd full backs switched sides, Dunne kept Kindon out of the game

Unusually for his era he was a right footed left back and very sound defensively. An incredible no of games for Man Utd. and Bolton and quite a number for Ireland I suspect. A true pro.

Taken from an Irish board below .

He was a terrific player. He got destroyed on his debut for United by a brilliant winger of the time, John Connolly of Burnley, but rather than let that shatter him, he took it as a lesson about the standard he needed to reach and dedicated himself with total commitment to become one of the club's greatest ever left backs. He was very bitter about his exit from Old Trafford which was forced by Tommy Doherty. Great player for Ireland as well as United.
