Re: Deliveries
The shortest known increment of time is between the Royal Mail pressing my doorbell and posting a 'you were out when we called' card.

For consistently good deliveries you need Dwight MacNeil.

Re: Deliveries
Bosscat, ring them and tell them you need a more specific time due to other commitments, I'm sure they'll then work out a more manageable 2 hour window.
Re: Deliveries
Donβt they just leave it on your doorstep nowadays and ring your bell.
Re: Deliveries
You`re complaining about delivery windows when you are supposed to be staying home?
Surely this is the best time ever to be getting home deliveries?/

Re: Deliveries
Delivery arrived 11am this morning ... BUT only 1/2 the order on the van as the rest was "out of stock".
This was ordered over 4 weeks ago, and Wickes gave me this date as the earliest delivery date saying everything was available, .
They now tell me they are refunding for the items undelivered.... wtf use is that ... I need the stuff for the job I had planned........
Needless to say I WILL NOT be using Wickes in the future for any DIY materials etc ... absolutely bloody useless.
On a side note the Driver of the van said "a customer yesterday took delivery of some 'decking boards' but the joists were out of stock so he had 5 square metres of decking but no joists to support it" another satisfied "NOT" customer of Wickes.
Thankfully a local supplier (who had just reopened yesterday) had the neccessary wood in stock so have the stuff in my workshop now to do the job.

Re: Deliveries
I recently ordered some tile paint and a tile paint roller from B&Q. They sent me the roller with a note saying the tile paint was out of stock and refunded my money for the paint. I just pretended to paint the tiles the next day.

Did you pretend to paint "Both sides" Karatekid?
