add sky sports to BT TV sport?
OK, I'm looking for advice.
I've got BT Broadband and BT TV, including BT Sport.
I'm trying to make sense of BT's "Big Sport" package.
BT says "You can change this flexible TV package once a month throughout your contract term. When life changes, so should your TV."
The offer is first 3 months at £20/month, which includes all Sky Sports channels. Then £40/month for further 21 months.
I'm paying £11 BT TV Entertainment Plus and £10 for BT Sport. (I don't think I ever watch BT Entertainment....).
BT says "You can upgrade or downgrade your flexible package each month, as long as you are in contract.
For even more flexibility get add-ons, including: BT Sport, NOW TV Sky Cinema Pass, NOW TV Entertainment Pass, NOW TV Sky Sports Pass, Netflix, Amazon Prime video and BT TV Kids. These work as monthly-rolling contracts you pay for each month."
So, how much will it cost me per month if I decide I don't need Sky Sports after 2 months - i.e. when 2019/20 season is complete (or, if it ends with new covid-19 outbreak)?
Before the BT chat bot tries to "tie me in knots" with lots of slippery promises, what's the best deal I can get?
I'm BT superfast fibre, btw - which means the broadband "final mile" is copper cable....

Re: add sky sports to BT TV sport?
Does anyone know which Sky Sports channel the Man City and Watford matches will be on?
Presumably, on a premium Sky Sports pay channel?

I got an E-mail from NOWTV yesterday. It was offering Sky Sports for £20 pm for three months. After three months it goes up to £33.99. You can cancel after three months if you wish.

I already have BT Sports as a bolt on to BT Broadband. It costs £7 p/m. I watch it through an App having plugged a tiny PC into the back of my TV. I don't have the BT TV box or any other channels. I also have Amazon Prime which I view through the tiny PC.
I have never bothered to subsribe to SKY. In normal times I just buy a day pass when Burnley are playing away.
The way that I am going to play it is that I will just watch matches on Prime, BT and the Freeview Pick channel where Sky will be putting their free matches.
I am not going to subscribe to Sky. I will just miss the games that that are pay games on Sky. I think that there is a good chance that matches behind closed doors will be rubbish and a waste of time and money. If it turns out that they are OK I will buy day passes for the games when Burnley are on Sky. It looks like I will be missing the first two though.

Re: add sky sports to BT TV sport?
Sorry I got mixed up with this.
It is the Sky free matches (25 in all) that are on the Pick Freeview channel.
I presume that Prime matches will be accessed through the normal way that you access Prime. Either through their website or through a TV stick. I am not sure whether you will need to create an Amazon account or not. What is certain is that you will not need to upgrade to a Prime account if you do need to create an amazon account.
Amazon Prime will make their remaining four Premier League games free to air, meaning you won't need a Prime membership to get involved. Alex Green, managing director of Prime Video Sport Europe, said:
"We will be making all four of Amazon Prime Video's additional fixtures in the 2019-20 season available free of charge; fans will not need a Prime membership to view the games on Prime Video."

Re: add sky sports to BT TV sport?
If you haven't got Sky sports and want to watch the City game, is there an option anywhere of just paying for that one game?

Re: add sky sports to BT TV sport?
Yes there is but you will need a NOWTV box or Smart stick. This will need to be connected to your internet router by WiFi.
Once this is set up you can purchase a Sky Sports Day Pass for £9.99. There is also an offer on for three months at £20 per month with the option to cancel at the end (see one of my posts above for details).
There are some offers where you can buy the box/stick along with a limited subscription for 1 month cinema and entertainment plus a sports day pass. They are usually about 30 quid.

https://www.nowtv.com/smart-tv-stick
There are other ways of accessing matches on Sky but their legality and reliability are a bit doubtful.
Personally I won't be bothering paying £9.99 a match to watch 'behind closed doors football'.
