La Liga resumes tonight
Sevilla-Real Betis local derby to kick things off.
A taster of what's to come in the PLhttps://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52875491
And a quick guide to who's where https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52955717
The German results have thrown up a few surprises, and lots of away wins, so will Spain follow suit?.

Let’s hope Betis win. Could do with Valencia and Atletico to finish top 4 for the season end accumulators...

On paper 3rd at home to 12th you'd normally pile on the hosts, but the break could affect everybody differently, and the lack of fans seems to offset any normal home advantage, plus Betis beat Real Madrid in their last match, admittedly it was a long time ago.Hibsclaret wrote: ↑Thu Jun 11, 2020 5:26 pmLet’s hope Betis win. Hell of a battle behind the big 2, anybody from 3rd to 7th will feel they've got a shot at CL football next season, and effectively it's a mini-league of 11 games.
Sociedad and Getafe are the surprise packages, and they could gatecrash the usual top 4 party, Atletico are in danger of missing out on Europe altogether, which won't help their precarious financial situation.
As for the title Suarez returning for Barca has to be a huge boost for them, i'd make them favs, Real are too hit and miss this season.
But it could go down to the wire, just a pity no fans are able to experience all the excitement, but sadly that can't be helped.
At least they'll be some footy to discuss.

Don't know it it's been mentioned on here, but if you go to the Premier Sports website, you can sign up to get La Liga TV free until the end of the month. Looking forward to the game tonight. It's been ages since I've been able to watch any Spanish football. I used to really enjoy it.

0-0 at HT, how Sevilla aren't ahead is a mystery.

2-0 FT that Ocampos is some player, they'll do well to keep hold of him this summer.

Re: La Liga resumes tonight
After seeing the heads-up on here, I forgot about it. According to BBC website (if you can believe anything on there is balanced nowadays) there were a fair few fans outside the stadium for the game. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52875491
