One of many songs banned by the BBC for its reference to 'death'. Remember someone once adamantly telling me that he opened the Woodstock concert in '69. Oh dear!

I think this was the first single I ever bought- certainly is was one of the first 2 or 3. I can still remember the lyrics, cheesy as they are. I never realized RV was Welsh rather than American until relatively recently, so......... gorffwys mewn heddwch Ricky.

By the time "Terry" by Twinkle came out I think I'd got past the morbid song stage.
