I don't think you can refer to Buxton as The Gasworks Gang This season has shown us that anyone is there for the taking !Wile E Coyote wrote: ↑Fri Jun 12, 2020 10:59 pmBuxton !! oh no, it'll be like Real Madrid playing the gasworks gang, I'm doomed.

GAME 6 STARTS HERE
This will run until 6pm (18.00) Monday 15 June.
Game 7 will start on Wednesday 17 June. There is scope for some LIVE matches for Game 7 but I need to know, by Tuesday, if anyone is up for it.

Good to see the likes of Dean Marney, Stephen Ward, George Boyd and Steven Defour in the thick of the action

An interesting Table.
This is how things would look like if we scored as we have in the past - goals scored being the important statistic

Another away game to the Liverpool of my league. Not sure whether to take the cautious defensive approach or go all out attack. Don't give much to my chances either way

Re: ***SPOT THE BALL*** Game 6
Hmm. I did previously finish ninth in the table, and can boast a cup semi-final appearance plus a win over Buxton already this time.
But nothing, surely, beats winning the league and qualifying for Europe...and it looks like even at this stage I've said goodbye to that.

Didn't get to play in Europe after winning the league, Red.
We were barred by Septic because apparently Spot kept weeing on the lampost outside his mansion.

Re: ***SPOT THE BALL*** Game 6
A Sunday morning surge has filled up the results board nicely. But will they affect the League Tables?
Will Bobinho remain undefeated? Will Huw Y Watt and BertieBeeHead get some points on the board? Will LeedsDave regain top spot? Will Dazzler turn goals into points?
Tune in tomorrow to find out the answers!

Absolutely no chance Ralph. I'm on the downhill slope now.

Re: ***SPOT THE BALL*** Game 6
I've been on a roll on this board the last couple of days so nothing can go wrong here - apart from not turning up and when I do, being absolute pants at this malarkey.
However, with the aid of technology, lateral thinking and large amounts of gin and tonic, I believe I have hit upon a cunning plan.

Relegation beckons but at least my Chairman's behind me. Was it Tommy Docherty who went on to add "Aye but I want the bugger in front of me so I can see what he's up to." ?
Thanks for the time and effort you put into this, Ralph.
