Villa v Blades

Post by ElectroClaret » Wed Jun 17, 2020 4:52 pm

Hooray! :P it's back!

Going Sheff U 0-2 on this one.
Don't think Villa will have improved.

Yes it's great Electro, really looking forward to it.

Disagree on the result though, I think Villa will win, to take them out of the bottom three.

Don't really care about Villa, but from a BFC POV surely we want a home win, we still have a fair shot of finishing above the Blades yet come the end of the season, so any points they drop is too be welcomed by us.

We also want a Man City victory in the late game, we have a very good chance of finishing above the Gunners as well, they've got a pretty tough run-in compared to us.

Quick predictions 2-1 to the Villa, 3-0 to City.

keeping McGinn, Grealish and Mings fit is crucial for Villa

Can’t wait :D

I want a Villa win to make it really tight down the bottom and to blunt the Blades who everyone has been fawning over all season.

Don't think so. Wilder seems a very good manager and I think they will be ready to go again.

6 changes for Villa from their 4-0 mauling at Leicester, could we be seeing rotation in action, or is Dean Smith just juggling his pack, McGinn comes straight in, i guess they have no choice but to risk him, they need points desperately.

Just 2 changes for Sheff Utd, and they're both forced, similar to us they like continuity, whether we'll both be able to keep regular starting XI'S for the rest of the games time will tell.

Going to take time to get used to this quiet and sterile atmosphere. Hope it doesn’t last too long.

Great to have football back though, absolutely brilliant. I think Villa will edge this one.

Agree entirely

You need to go to Sky Sports Main Event for crowd noise.

Sound is remarkably authentic actually apart from the cheer when the goalie just made a save

Flicked over to the other channel and thought it was shocking without crowd noise. For 95% of the time you wouldn’t realise that it isn’t authentic.

Agreed. Don't notice any difference from a "real" game with the background drone of noise.

I'd be interested to know who controls it. At the moment I'm getting more Villa than United ;)

I’m one not liking the crowd noise tonight. Seems a lot different to the Barca match I watched last night in that it’s behind the play.

I have tried it with the false crowd noise and found that crap.
Watched it without crowd noise and its like a friendly with no tempo.

I just don’t like it at all.

Crowd noise is fine. Few teething problems with it but I’ll get better. Mind you, they said that about VAR.

Just doesn’t sound right. Keeper made a good save and the noise cam at least a second later.

I’m finding the player comments and manager’s coaching etc far more interesting.

To be honest, I don’t mind the fake crowd sound.
I remember watching most of the 2010 World Cup without the sound on because of those bloody vuvuzelas, you kind of get used to it.

I’m guessing someone is in charge of what plays when. It’ll be a bit off as it’s one persons reaction rather than thousands of people.

I quite enjoyed a german game in silence, listening to the players etc. But much prefer a bit of crowd noise.
