Couple of quizzes

Post by tiger76 » Thu Jun 18, 2020 2:45 pm

So quiz time again.

Quiz: How well do you know the world’s deserts?https://www.wanderlust.co.uk/content/de ... 741f9df7e

7/17 for myself

Quiz: Countries of the world from A to Zhttps://www.wanderlust.co.uk/content/a- ... 741f9df7e

15/26 here, but a few were lucky guesses, good luck.

Glad your enjoying them, one advantage of lockdown is it allows you to improve your knowledge, of course you've still got to remember the blessed answers if they ever come up in quizzes down the line, and that's the problem, they often go out of your mind over time, especially if the multiple choice options aren't there, which in many quizzes they aren't, at least with these you've got a sporting chance of guessing a few, and everyone will know some, as there's such a variety involved.

We used to attend a regular weekly pub quiz, but gradually attendance fell away, and it's now been stopped alas, so it's good i can keep my mind active with online quizzes, but there's so many to choose from though, you have a hard time selecting.

The advantage with these is i just get them e-mailed, and i never know what's going to be the subject, although naturally it usually involves travel & geography, but even then it's such a diverse topic, you can go from cities to rivers, or even literature settings, so it keeps you on your toes that's for sure.

Probably be another in a day or two, they come randomly, so i can't be certain.

We have kept a weekly whatsapp quiz going in our group who were regulars in the Friday Pub Quiz in our local 😁...

A Tuesday 20 questions and a Friday music Quiz ...

Can't beat a bit of quizzing 👍🙂👍
