Norwich v Saints

Post by ElectroClaret » Fri Jun 19, 2020 5:40 pm

Its a long shot for the Canaries, I think Southampton will
inflict further damage on them.

Incidentally, its on Pick, channel 11 Free view, for those
who don't know.

Aye, but they'll do well to keep Ings quiet.

I'm sure I just heard the crowd singing that the referee is a w@nker. And love how the noise gets louder when someone is fouled.

Gutted we never managed to come to a deal over James Ward Prouse in 2018

Was not getting regular games back then, club captain now.

Beats the One Show. There are fairly poor games like this every week in the Premier League, quite often involving Burnley.

Norwich need a win here so could be an interesting second half.

I thought Villa and Sheff U was boring but this is worse, then Ings scores as I type.

Lost count of the number of times Norwich concede possession in dangerous areas. They’re a tidy side, albeit very toothless, but they’re the opposite of streetwise.

I sit in the JMU so it’s quite common to hear the opposition celebrate a second or so after the ball hits the back of our net.

Norwich have it in them to concede goals far too easily and they’ve done it again here.

Poor game but these players are nowhere near fully fit. We are going to get games like this in the first couple of game weeks.

You could start this season with home and away against Newcastle. Then there’s Bournemouth away, Everton away. All really poor games.

Do you really need me to name them? We’ve been involved in loads of games that are just as bad as this one. I could go back just two games to St James’ Park for starters.

Im sure there are loads a neutral would find boring but off the top of my head the back to back 1-0 wins against Bournemouth and Newcastle were terrible games.

Its totally different when you are watching your own team cos the result matters so much there is a nervous intensity that makes the game seem exciting and interesting

People on here talk about the joy they get watching Burnley shut down a game with organised defending. Do you think they would enjoy watching Sheff Utd do it to Palace cos I dont

Why do Norwich persist in doing the same things that cost them the game at the Turf and other games this season.

I was looking at the table before kick off and thought a win tonight would give them a real chance. This looked very much a winnable game for them but you just can’t give goals away like this.
