Re: Spurs v Man U
Why is the crowd noise so quiet on this game? Anyone else noticed?

Give over. I've never had a perm. My hair is naturally wavy. It's also naturally silver

Re: Spurs v Man U
I was looking forward to some proper swearing and abuse in these games but the crowd noise spoils that.

Not altogether certain what Tescos has got to do with anything. As far as I know they are playing at White Hart Lane not a Norh London Council maintained playing field.

Can’t help when they are used to playing in front of big crowdsClaretincraven wrote: ↑Fri Jun 19, 2020 8:52 pmIt is as much the lack of atmosphere. Although let's not forget they are professional footballers who do this for a living.

Re: Spurs v Man U
Wow! Roy Keane's not mincing his words, a taxi for De Gea, Maguire & Shaw back to Manchester would be expensive, but not as expensive as what Man U forked out for their services, £80m=Maguire vs £75m=Van Dijk, i know who get the better value for money with those deals.

Where have all these footballers been having their hair cut?

Loud boos from the virtual crowd there.
You can hear they're virtually annoyed with that decision.

Re: Spurs v Man U
anyone else noticed the lack of play acting in all the games so far because they have no crowd to bonce off ? Hope the refs are taking notice

I'm not fully up to speed on this yet.
Do the players hear this canned crowd sounds or, is it just on tv?

VAR at its best there. Would have been criminal if that Pen had stood.

Re: Spurs v Man U
Had that been given as a pen, it'd be time to give up.
Re: Spurs v Man U
Shame. It would have been a delight to see and hear a Mourinho meltdown.

The ref did his best for MU, that's for sure.

Re: Spurs v Man U
Thought the ref was lenient on Spurs who evidently sought to take advantage of the empty stadium.

Re: Spurs v Man U
Not a bad result for us, we could still finish above Spurs, but we'll struggle to catch United, so better for us that Spurs dropped 2 points.
Re: Spurs v Man U
Or three.
Re: Spurs v Man U
Well my wife has been cutting my hair and it looks good. However given when I go the the hairdresser/barber he charges me £15 and £1 is for cutting the other £14 is the search fee, it isn't too difficult once she finds the hairs to be cut.

Don’t have such problems myself. Blessed with a full head, fortunately. Certainly turning greyer than I’d like though. Not sure reading this message board helps on that front
