History suggests this could be an entertaining game - been some crackers over the years between them

Spurs will have the edge, they've been in training since the second week of lockdown.

Watching Manu for me is a bit like watching the b&astard or Leeds: I always want them to lose.

1-0 - Harry Kane. He wasn’t involved but he’s claiming it.

What do you expect? They haven’t had long enough in what has been a pre-season. Dyche is not the only manager who has pointed that out. Give it 2 or 3 games each and it will be different.Claretincraven wrote: ↑Fri Jun 19, 2020 8:43 pmThis season cant finish quick enough for me. It's like watching a crap pre season friendly.

It is as much the lack of atmosphere. Although let's not forget they are professional footballers who do this for a living.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Fri Jun 19, 2020 8:47 pmWhat do you expect? I'm sure you're right, one or two like to play up to the crowd.Claretincraven wrote: ↑Fri Jun 19, 2020 8:52 pmIt is as much the lack of atmosphere. Although let's not forget they are professional footballers who do this for a living.

Would you expect Bolt to break the 100m world record down a tesco aisle if you bumped into him?Claretincraven wrote: ↑Fri Jun 19, 2020 8:52 pmIt is as much the lack of atmosphere. Although let's not forget they are professional footballers who do this for a living.
The idea professional footballers can just turn up after months away and be at full tilt is laughable

Was wondering that myself. Think the clubs should provide an answer to that question, otherwise they’re all breaking lockdown rules. Hope we don’t turn up immaculately groomed.

However, I do sometimes follow the ball with the cursor but often I can't keep up. Then I'm so busy watching the cursor that I miss what's happening with the ball.
Did you understand any of that? I think I'm losing it.

Roy Keane absolutely slating McGuire, DeGea and United at half time. Shame isn't it?

I’m sure some of the players have broken the lockdown rules to get their haircut. But it is perfectly possible to do it yourself, it’s hardly rocket science.

As for the football, I’ve found it entertaining so far. It was never going to be the same after a few months out and without a crowd, not sure what some were expecting.
