BBC on 75 minutes ...
HITS THE WOODWORK
Watford 0-0 Leicester
Demarai Gray has looked sharp since coming on and he dances past a few players, slips it right to Marc Albrighton, and he smashes it towards the near post.
Does Kasper Schmeichel get anything on it? It's hit so sweetly and crashes off the right post.
It comes back out to James Maddison, who drills it low and forces a superb diving, finger-tip save from Schmeichel.
How did that not go in?!
Hmmmmmm

Re: Watford v Leicester
I was told Schmeichel was good but didn't realise he was that good - as it happens, I thought the second of the saves, if indeed he did get a touch to the first, by FOSTER to deny Maddison was outstanding.Bosscat wrote: ↑Sat Jun 20, 2020 2:11 pmSpot the mistake...

A good point for Watford, as it takes them ahead of West Ham, who I want to go down.

Re: Watford v Leicester
Decent point for Watford, every points like gold-dust down their, puts the onus onto Brighton now, and another game without a home win, 5 PL games completed since the restart, and only Man City have notched a victory at home, could the PL be following the pattern of the Bundesliga?

Re: Watford v Leicester
Huge 3 points for Brighton, and a useful point for Watford, puts the pressure on West Ham & Bournemouth in the evening games.
Leno injured for Arsenal, he'll be a miss for them, every chance that we can still finish above the Gooners yet. Their defending is Keystone Cop comedy material.

Re: Watford v Leicester
4 point gap between Brighton in 15th and Watford in 16th, not uncatchable, but a useful cushion with only 8 games left, you feel both West Ham & Bournemouth have to win tonight now, if they lose any more ground it'll just become harder, could change very quickly, but as it stands right now, it looks like 3 from Watford, West Ham, Bournemouth, Villa and Norwich for the drop.
We'll soon find out if the Hammers and the Cherries are up for the fight.

Only room for one team in claret and blue... Villa and West Ham can both go, for me.

Re: Watford v Leicester
I thought yesterday that should Norwich beat Southampton then it could make it very interesting, but then I saw Norwich play. They are miles behind the others and are certain to go down unless there is a 2015 Leicester style miracle.ElectroClaret wrote: ↑Sat Jun 20, 2020 5:20 pmAnd you can forget Norwich, so its two from the other four.

Re: Watford v Leicester
After their meek surrender yesterday i'd tend to agree, i was being nice, but most peeps would say they've got Norfolking chance of survival.ElectroClaret wrote: ↑Sat Jun 20, 2020 5:20 pmAnd you can forget Norwich, so its two from the other four.
