I think I'm going for a record here - don't think I've ever sat and watched four games in one day before.

Would love a Bournemouth win too. That will really heap the pressure on Villa, West Ham and Watford.
Sadly I can only see a Palace win. They are a very astute side who play extremely well on the counter.

A draw would do. Will send West Ham into the bottom 3.

Possibly.
I’ve done three at grounds but all I’ve done today is switch channels a couple of times.
Re: Bournemouth v Palace
Bugger.
Bournemouth will find it incredibly difficult to get back into this now.

Going behind at home against Palace really does make it difficult. Really well taken free kick though.

I don't see any fight from Bournemouth, I've no idea who their captain is but he is not leading
Re: Bournemouth v Palace
Think Palace will fancy their chances of nicking the last European place.

Re: Bournemouth v Palace
Bournemouth are stepping it up slowly away & got palace defending more deeply but need to score or at least create some goal scoring opportunities, goes without saying they need the next goal or curtains.

Pictures of players gobbing/snotting have been in every match ... I understood this to now be a booking offence ... are the powers that be going to crackdown on this or notWokingclaret wrote: ↑Sat Jun 20, 2020 8:14 pmLovely close-up of a player snotting on the pitch there

Re: Bournemouth v Palace
That’s how we were at times under Howe. They have really good spells but when things aren’t going for them they look totally bereft. They are in desperate need of a goal here to get back into this game.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Sat Jun 20, 2020 8:15 pmI don't see any fight from Bournemouth, I've no idea who their captain is but he is not leading

Re: Bournemouth v Palace
It’s like watching Burnley under Howe. Lots of nice tippy-tippy football but no penetration, hopeless at the back.

I used to call it pass and move without the move. No doubt he’s done well at Bournemouth but this tonight is just what I saw time and again when he was at Burnley.scouseclaret wrote: ↑Sat Jun 20, 2020 8:20 pmIt’s like watching Burnley under Howe. Re those Dyche to Palace rumours. Why on earth would they want him instead of Hodgson? He has the better of Dyche and he always delivers.

Re: Bournemouth v Palace
At the end of tonight's game all six clubs in the relegation battle will have played once.
So far, the only two that have made a case that they are good enough to survive are Watford and Brighton.
The other four have looked very poor. Perhaps Villa have been the least poor .

Cahill can be a bit of a nasty player at times
Re: Bournemouth v Palace
Hodgson is knocking on a bit though and can't go on forever. Maybe Palace are fancying Dyche to take over in a year or two?Marney&Mee wrote: ↑Sat Jun 20, 2020 8:45 pmRe those Dyche to Palace rumours. Palace well drilled and with some decent squad players.
Look like we will be left behind now.
Great shame and unnecessary.

Had a tremendous career.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Sat Jun 20, 2020 9:17 pmNot really. He’s certainly been an outstanding player. Hard to believe it’s over 15 years since he was at Burnley.
I'm sure though he benefitted massively from playing alongside McGreal and Sinclair in his season here. Couldn't have hoped for better teammates to learn from as a young player on loan.
