Strange. While not really following the news too much for various reasons. I had heard a similar thing happened yesterday in London to three girls in parks. Wonder if there’s some link?

Re: Reading Stabbings
Sounds like people have stood there filming on their phones whilst the police and paramedics have been trying to save the victims lives. No doubt so they can share it on social media in order to get a few likes.

It’s a common theme. Something that gets my back up more than anything.
That said in the case of Floyd I guess it served some sort of purpose. Albeit the man died rather than being saved...

For 3 members of the public being killed in a park?
If that's your sort of thing

Keep pussy footing about and these things happen. What's betting the accused has "mental health problems" and some money grabbing solicitor will be pleading for a sentence in hospital in no time.

Re: Reading Stabbings
Divisive media is to blame for a lot of this, imo.
The way discourse now has become a mere slandering exercise at the worst or just nonsense shouting matches at best hasn't helped at all.
I'm not going to point my fingers on who's the culprit until the facts are out (I'm sure they'll be plenty of that from all 'sides') but seriously, this polarisation & division HAS to stop.
Its getting beyond tedious and we're seeing the results worsen with each passing day - or so it seems.
The worst thing is that I can't even say that I'm shocked.

Now being reported it had nothing to do with the BLM gathering in the park earlier. All safely away but it is being treated as a terrorist incident. One man arrested.

Re: Reading Stabbings
Saw this on Twitter before the recent update came out and sums up the state of things for me
"If the man in custody is White:
Far Left Wing Twitter will rejoice
If the man in custody is Black/Asian:
Far Right Wing Twitter will rejoice
This is the exact problem with the current situation we find ourselves in, in this Country."
See how the above plays out on here over the next 24hrs

Agree 100%. The media especially over recent months have created massive issues that didn’t exist.CoolClaret wrote: ↑Sat Jun 20, 2020 10:27 pmDivisive media is to blame for a lot of this, imo.

Looks like a very nasty incident but thankfully the police appear to have been on the scene early.

Reports are saying a lone bobby first on the scene chased and rugby tackled the knife man. Could have well saved even more facilities so absolute full respect to that guy

I'm interested to know who the target of his "uprising" will be.
Re: Reading Stabbings
Absolutely. Oh no, I’ve been reported!
As somebody who served ten years in our armed forces, I couldn’t give a shiny **** what you think.
You wet lettuce. More than happy to see our country on its knees.

Did I mention I served in the forces? I served in the forces! Did I mention that? what does that have to do with anything?
Who will your ‘uprising’ be against? What will it entail?

Re: Reading Stabbings
Not so sure why the dig without any decent input but whatever.
To me it appears that there was more harmony before media started polarising every issue possible into nonsensical sides.
Now I'm not saying eras like the 50s/60s or whatever but maybe around the late 90s?
Seems like post 9/11 the world has been on a downward trend, or even not progressing at previous rates.
Or at least that's how I feel or the narrative has made me feel.

Re: Reading Stabbings
Course. Definitely will have no doubting that. But being locked down and exposed to / obsessed with the news will make it much worse.
I said even before lock down - the longer it goes on the more likely we are to have civil unrest or worse. Just needed the right excuse. Especially when Nice weather hits.
