What if....
I'm sure this has been suggested, but I haven't read it.
Worrif, the Club picks out one Season Ticket number per stand and those supporters are allowed in to the ground for these TV matches. Surely, their allocation of places could accommodate such small numbers.
Me and Spot have held the first draw and I'm in for Thursday (JMU).

Blimey! don't let Dave Burnley see this thread he'll be apoplectic , on a serious note the only people that I've seen in the stadiums are the various media crews, any club staff, and directors, so quite correctly they are rigorously enforcing the closed door policy, it needs to be that way, because if you make exceptions for anyone, then others will argue that they qualify for entry, your names not on the door Ralph, and you're not coming in, you'll have to watch it on the telly with everybody else.

Re: What if....
That's easily explained he's on the Liverpool board as a non-executive director, he has been for several years now.claretblue wrote: ↑Mon Jun 22, 2020 11:33 amsaw Sir Kenny attending at Goodison yesterday and did wonder how he was allowed!

Also the small fact that he's an ex Liverpool manager, and arguably their greatest ever player probably entitles him to certain privileges.
It'll be interesting who's in the stands at the Etihad representing the Clarets tonight.

A Birmingham FC match official gave his seat to Jude Bellingham’s Mum for their game against West Brom.
Could be an option for those with a relative in our starting 11

The Premier League has issued a list of who is and who isn't allowed into the grounds and it doesn't include supporters. Clubs have to establish a security plan to ensure access to the stadium is only granted to accredited individuals.RalphCoatesComb wrote: ↑Mon Jun 22, 2020 10:18 amWorrif, the Club picks out one Season Ticket number per stand and those supporters are allowed in to the ground for these TV matches

But rules are there to be changed, especially in these weird times.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Mon Jun 22, 2020 3:08 pmThe Premier League has issued a list of who is and who isn't allowed into the grounds and it doesn't include supporters. Wonder who decided directors were essential to the running of the team?

A 'Boris Advice Merchant' could swan in and pick whatever seat he wanted without any comeback?tiger76 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 22, 2020 11:23 amBlimey! don't let Dave Burnley see this thread he'll be apoplectic , on a serious note the only people that I've seen in the stadiums are the various media crews, any club staff, and directors, so quite correctly they are rigorously enforcing the closed door policy, it needs to be that way, because if you make exceptions for anyone, then others will argue that they qualify for entry, your names not on the door Ralph, and you're not coming in, you'll have to watch it on the telly with everybody else.
