5pm - the bottlers v the bottlers probably 0-0 with both trying to lose
6pm - Norwich win
6pm - Newcastle win
6pm - 2 flakey teams probably 0-0
8.15pm - Chelsea win

Be an enjoyable night if West Ham & Bournemouth lose

If both Bournemouth and West Ham lose tonight then mathematically we are safe unless there is a massive change in our respective goal differences in our remaining games
Yeah I was looking at that last night. I'd still prefer Bournemouth to win though as I want them to stay up. West Ham and Villa going down would be good enough.

Wigan's 12 point deduction should buck Huddersfield up prior to their game tonight, ditto with Hull and Charlton tomorrow, that Hull-Boro game has certainly assumed huge importance for both, now that Barnsley and Luton are stirring themselves.

Hoping for Bournemouth, Derby or Preston to win, and hopefully Forest or Bristol to bag the 3 points, any of those 4 teams winning will be a blow to Rovers play-off hopes, and the games are fast running out. Ideally Leicester & Norwich winning would be great for the Clarets, can't see it though with the rank rotten form they're both in.

I think Forest are too far clear of Rovers now. Forest on 64, Rovers 56. An 8 point swing looks a bit too much. As Forest won't catch the top 2, I'd prefer Bristol City to win - knock Rovers down another spot. *evil laugh*

Need B’mouth to pull something out. Either of West Ham or Watford going would be better for us next year as they have squads that could improve.
I’m praying it’s West Ham after that stadium corruption.

Reading that article on the BBC. West Ham really can't afford to go down. So lets hope they do :)

Unfortunately, West Ham have the games. On paper at least. Norwich, Watford, Newcastle, Villa. All winnable.

Aye, but the run-in always throws up a few surprises.
Be interesting to see who's on the wrong end
of them.

Preston one down agaist Derby at home. What's gone wrong there recently? They were doing so well.

Just had extended highlights of our CP match on PL review. Excellent for my collection as I couldn’t get Amazon coverage here.
I would have saved the whole match we were that good.

It's really not so recent They have 4 points out of the last 32 and in fact just one point since February 22nd, and scored just 3 goals!
Just shows what a strong position they were in at the start of the year to still be in contention, (plus the fact that no one seems to want that 6th spot and teams keep losing.)

Well they were rank poor for most of the first half, but they showed a bit of fight just before the break.

Crikey it just showed Solanke's stats ahead of the Bournemouth game, 1 goal in 57 games, none in the PL in 36 appearances, and they paid nearly £20m for that waste of space, amazing he's 22, and yet he has only 8 goals to his name, and 7 of them were scored in Holland, which with the greatest respect isn't anywhere near the level of the PL, what do these managers see in him because it beats me.

Newcastle aren't a team you want to fall behind to either, their tough to break down, as we've found out twice this season.

Toffees 1 up against Leicester.

Not really what the doctor ordered.

They've been dire again tonight, defending poorly, and lacking a midfield or forward presence, they look a yard slower than Newcastle, where's the urgency? their supposed to be fighting for their lives, but you wouldn't imagine it on this showing.

Sadly yes West Ham can thank their lucky stars there's 3 teams worse than them this season, because that's the only reason they'll probably escape the trap door. And Watford aren't much better, but none of the bottom 3 can buy a draw right now, let alone a win.

Bournemouth are awful. Howes days must be numbered, his teams have never been able to defend and they don't look capable of hurting the opposition.

In the Lamb v Ram match at dumpdale, Rams are 1 up
