Re: tonight's games
Carbon copy of the Palace game, it's men against boys. It's almost as if Bournemouth have resigned themselves to relegation already.
Re: tonight's games
The way Watford & West Ham have performed in recent games neither look a good bet to survive.
Re: tonight's games
Nobody in bottom five looks capable of a win at the moment

Re: tonight's games
I thought they were slightly better against Palace but that's really not saying much - I know confidence can have a big affect but look at the effort they are putting in compared to our lads at Palace - couldn't be more of a polar opposite in desire and determination
Re: tonight's games
Bournemouth are just crap Arsenal. Fancy pantsy tippy tap football. With no ********, no fight. The football they both try to play is alright, but there’s no one to dig them out and grind out a win.

We would be safe on 37pts. None of the bottom five look capable of stringing a run together.

When Mark Noble retires at West Ham they are doomed. He has carried that team for so long.
Chelsea supposedly after Rice to team up with his mate Mount.

Terriers two up at Brum. That would be a very good win for them.
Re: tonight's games
I haven't thought at any point this season that Bournemouth could drop but it's not looking too bright right now.

There is no way West Ham are out of trouble yet. Especially if they lose to Chelsea later.

Pickford has just let one go under his body that a schoolgirl could have stopped. MK saved his bacon.
What does he have on Southgate?

Re: tonight's games
33 points will be enough, but after this evening we're mathematically safe barring a big swing on GD.
Bournemouth and Villa can only match 45 points now, and additionally WHU and Villa play each other, so one or the other (or both) will drop points.

Poor Eddie. What on earth has gone so wrong for him this year.

Before tonight's matches the teams who were (and who still are) 16th, 17th, 18th and 19th had collectively bagged 3 (three) points from 11 games. So, we're now looking at 3 from 12.

I didn't see that Forest had taken the lead vs Bristol City.
Forest now 11 points clear of Rovers.

A lot of the Bournemouth team are now stealing a wage. Dreadful attitude by most.

I'd be surprised if Eddie gets the bullet.
Him, Jason and Bournemouth seem welded together.
They'll probably get another crack at getting them straight back up.

Well they're going down playing like that. The only chance they have is a 'New manager bounce'.ElectroClaret wrote: ↑Wed Jul 01, 2020 7:49 pmI'd be surprised if Eddie gets the bullet.

OK, it probably won't work, but they surely have to try?

And look at the support our lads were getting from the touchline at Selhurst Park and the complete lack of it from the home dug our tonight.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Wed Jul 01, 2020 7:00 pmI thought they were slightly better against Palace but that's really not saying much - I know confidence can have a big affect but look at the effort they are putting in compared to our lads at Palace - couldn't be more of a polar opposite in desire and determination

They keep talking about Aké going to a top club but he wouldn’t get near a Dyche team.Funkydrummer wrote: ↑Wed Jul 01, 2020 7:43 pmA lot of the Bournemouth team are now stealing a wage. Dreadful attitude by most.

Re: tonight's games
Is this the worst bottom 5 in PL history?
As pointed out by ecc, earlier, since lockdown their collective effort is 0-3-12 with WHU to come.
