Re: Osama Bin Laden
Is Peter Sutcliffe there he liked the Leeds area
Re: Osama Bin Laden
I thought it was quite amusing and a good way of dealing with him by showing him as an object of ridicule rather than anyone of any significance today.
Re: Osama Bin Laden
I am thick if I didn't see something? Now that is a very intelligent well thought out post.
Dont call me thick. I can assure you I am not. And I know who Bin Laden was. You didn't. And another thing I and most Burnley fans I know are not racist depending of course on the defintion of racist. In todays world mention black and white mints and your probably racist.

Re: Osama Bin Laden
Mints. Minstrels oh dear Fidel thats asking for self flagelationists, apologists ( for being English) and hand wringers to self harm.
Even the Taiwanese have caught on now. When I used to go there a lot back in day they had a toothpaste called Darkie Toothpaste which featured a minstrel with gleaming white teeth and a hat like Al Jolson wore. They have now changed the name. I thought at the time 80's they can't feature this. But Chinese being Chinese well. I will post some pictures for your attention tomorrow. And before some mard @rse calls me a racist for my comment about Chinese. I admire them. Spent a lot of my life among them.

I wouldn't bother. FWIW I believe your story about the toothpaste, but, you know, times change and all that?Stayingup wrote: ↑Wed Jun 24, 2020 8:36 pmMints. Minstrels oh dear Fidel thats asking for self flagelationists, apologists ( for being English) and hand wringers to self harm.

Incidentally, I've yet to meet anyone whose had to apologise for being English, or even felt like they might need to.
Re: Osama Bin Laden
Oh English history to qualify my comment. Their are many apologists for that. Funny though I have not heard about any Russians apologizing for Stalins atrcities. Stil that's Russia. One of the worst places I ever worked infidelcastro wrote: ↑Wed Jun 24, 2020 8:43 pmI wouldn't bother. FWIW I believe your story about the toothpaste, but, you know, times change and all that?

Are we allowed to laugh at things like this in this brave, new, world?

I'd file this under the same banner as the plane incident, both belong in the stupid bin, what amazes me is anybody that thought this image wouldn't be noticed.
Re: Osama Bin Laden
Maybe somebody should have put a printout of Winston Churchill up, really trigger the whiny little babies

Oh my goodness. You've just made yourself look a complete moron. Either you're stupid and can't wait to jump down somebody's throat to call them rascist or you need to go to specsavers.
Re: Osama Bin Laden
Suggest you see my apologies, just never thought someone would allow that to happenClarinetclaret wrote: ↑Thu Jun 25, 2020 4:45 amOh my goodness. You've just made yourself look a complete moron.
