Well it would tell us if the team spirit has been shattered by all this.

Not sure but could have Rigg engineered him out to get his own man in ? Dyche likes full control rightly so, perhaps thats were the real issue is?

Surely Mike Garlick wouldn't allow this to happen?

I remain hopeful that the Chairman is able to demonstrate to Sean Dyche that the 'pennies saved' over this fiasco have led to several strong signings, not least Kieran Trippier at right back. That would keep Mr D smiling for some time.

Up the Clarets
Would love Trippier back Ian but no chance for at least 3-4 seasons

We have all lost money with Covid, whether its jobs or what is in your pension pot. Garlick has to be strong and give us the best team he can next season. If that means making a loss for the season then so be it. There are sellable assets that we will make a profit on even if the market is lower.
If Dyche resigns tomorrow or walk's at the end of the season then he will lose millions in compensation. No doubt we will bet the ranch as we always have in the championship.

Pretty sure we will have made a loss this season let alone next season

Wow Rigg has gone from having next to no influence in the one area he is supposed to have responsibility for, to choosing our next manager.

Forgive me if I am looking at the sniff test here.
That was one of his roles when he was employed, His job is recruitment and succession planning.

Also, a few of the messages on twitter relating to the mirror article about Sean also mentioned something in the article about american investors sniffing around. I couldn't see this in the online article though.

We simply can’t take big gambles now. We don’t when the times are good. So now certainly isn’t the time.

It’s taken years to get so financially sound and stable. We can’t risk it for Jeff Hendrick or even Sean Dyche.

We will definitely be up for sale. At the right price for sure.

I dare say we are up for sale. Garlick paid minimal investment to become top dog and I’m not naive enough to believe that he’ll hang around for “the right custodian for the club”. But I just can’t see us being a potential purchase for anyone. Let alone Americans that’s for sure.

Good demonstration tonight of why the chairman should be backing Dyche to the hilt
