Can’t blame them. Now that Joe Hart’s left there’s nothing to talk about.

Re: Match of the Day
I didn't watch MOTD last night, but in fairness what is there to discuss about Burnley, we're safe in mid-table, so there's little to say, whereas for the teams in the bottom 5 there's plenty of interest, personally i'm quite happy us going under the radar, and finishing middle of the pack year on year, than being in the midst of a dogfight at the foot of the table, and garnering all the media attention, I've no doubt the likes of Bournemouth, Villa, Watford and West Ham, would happily swap places with us in a heartbeat.
Re: Match of the Day
What was exceedingly annoying during yesterday's TV transmission was the constant switching over to the Arsenal game with our game relegated to a small side screen. They replayed Arsenal's goals about 10 times each. Who the feck wanted to view that?
Re: Match of the Day
Mid table to only a few points of a European place, especially if the ban is upheld and the FA cup winner has a place.

Re: Match of the Day
If Sterling's effort had gone in rather than hitting the post I think that might have been the greatest counter-attack/breakaway goal ever last night. I like MotD, especially at the moment when the lack of atmosphere makes it harder to be bothered about watching games for the full 90 minutes (our games aside, obviously). The bite-sized highlights are perfect and there have been some great goals this week.

Remember when thy used to just show the best game there had been that day

Are you suggesting the 'favourites' are not producing the best matches?SalisburyClaret wrote: ↑Fri Jun 26, 2020 11:01 amRemember when thy used to just show the best game there had been that day
Shock, horror. To quote Prince Andrew.
