I actually switched over to the commentary only and enjoyed it.

Got to say that I thought the crowd noise was fantastic tonight, they had it down to a tee in my opinion. Right down to the injury-time getting over the line chanting and a round of applause after some nifty work by Dwight. Made the game more enjoyable.

How do they do the crowd noise/ reaction thing ? I've got a mental image of someone sat at one of those massive church organs with the choice of 30 levers to pull. Groan!, Boo!, Come on Burnley !

The crowd noise effects were the best synchronised and balanced that I've heard on any transmission so far.
In terms of content, the "Burnley" crowd got totally behind the team, and we didn't have any abuse of players of either side, nor did we have any songs about other clubs who are inferior and irrelevant to us. Long may this continue.

The crowd noise was really well done, - the best I've heard after watching several matches.

It sounded very realistic for the most part. The trick is to try to avoid looking at the stands.

The only thing that was missing was half a dozen blokes behind me whinging and moaning at every little thing that doesn't go our way.

Burnley fans were great last night. The only chant I missed was a little bit of "anti-football." Of course, we sing this ironically, if anyone has missed that - like the journo who reported "anti-football" being chanted by our opposition one time - having missed that it was the Burnley fans chanting.

Maybe a little more "we are the longside" would have been great.

How many were on from Watford? I don't recall any Watford chants - though that may be because they'd not a lot to chant about. ;)
