Crystal Palace press conference at 1-15 pm today. Hopefully we'll find out a bit more about J Rod's injury. I like Vyds but not sure I fancy him on his own up front against the Eagles.

A Gibson Hughes/Dawson switch would be decent business
Indeed it would.

It's an option, but not one I'd like to stake my life on.

I think I remember seeing Gray touch the ball once of any note. He chested the ball down to a man about 6 or 7 yards away and it thundered a million miles away from him. Andre was pivotal in his time here. I am grateful for it. I don't think we need to go back to him. We invested the money very wisely in Wood. Keep moving forwards slowly is good management for me.

I saw SD chatting for some time at the end with TD. I'd have him here. Not the most likeable man in the world but you get a true warrior who will add to the squad.

Dawson would get more than a few goals from our corner routines and be a great swap for Gibson.

Andre Gray wouldn't come back here, he will stay on the Southern circuit. Brentford maybe if they come up and Watford go down.

only Dyche played him in the PL (probably due to lack of any serious options) - he's been at Watford a few years so has had time to impress about 40 managers by now ! Not good enough

Made the front page today.

He's being "probed" for a "covid party", whatever those particular words mean.

As good as he was for us at the time, he has always come across as being more comfortable as a gangster type than a model pro footballer. As one of the Watford fans was quoted as saying, "It's a pity no one gave him a brain for his birthday"

Turns out he's now been dropped, along with a couple of team mates, following his unauthorized party.

Watford's Gray, Chalobah & Quina left out of squad after Gray reportedly hosted party this week
Watford say it is 'to ensure health & safety of all players, staff and officials'

Likes the luxuries of being a footballer, but can't stop trying to be a bad boy gangsta.

Knob heads come in all shapes, sizes and professions.

If you were a Watford fan you’d be apoplectic about this. Making 3 players unavailable to help a sorry looking side in a relegation fight.

I'm just waiting for Pearson to blow up if he's asked about it after the game.

Which he'd be justified in doing, really.

£18m transfer fee and £3m - £4m a year in wages for a player who is their 4th choice striker.
And then he does this !

The only silver cloud for him is that there are no fans to lambast him at the moment. If (and it’s a big if I know) he has any sense he’ll stay off social media.

and they're taking a beating off Saints. Pearson will go nuts, surely.

In the past, given my age let's say 70's/80's there were a lot of talented players who's personal lives were a mess due to gambling and drinking.
We probably didn't hear much at the time, but nowadays due to social media, every little discretion is made public almost immediately. They don't help themselves by publicising their own actions. FWIW, I think we are well rid of this idiot.

I’m bored so I’ve just had a look on Watford’s forum and they’re an unhappy lot. They really don’t like Gray but then they don’t seem to like any of their players.

Not much was made of the BFC Wag party during Royal Ascot. This is also a bit of a non story despite it breaking lockdown rules.

There have been far worse transgressions over the past few weeks in the world of 'celebrity sports people' who should know better.

There have been worse gatherings in Burnley and Padiham recently!

It was his 29th birthday, someone on the Watford forum suggested it would be good if someone had gifted him a brain.

He may not be the brightest but liked his input whilst he was here.
