Haircuts

Post by NewClaret » Thu Jun 25, 2020 11:29 pm

Have to say, as well as being delighted about tonight’s win & JRod’s deft header, I’m so proud that we look a right set of shabby misfits.

We’re a team of proper men who are being very respectful to the rest of society actually living by the lockdown rules.

Ben Mee could do with a good groom. But apart from that, he's immense.

I didn’t realise so many footballers lived with hairdressers. It’s got to be the highest recurrent matching of occupations for spouses.

Baring Pope, Cork and Vydra, they all need to go to the barbershop.

Seen this mentioned a number of times. It’s hardly rocket science putting a set of clippers and a pair of scissors to your hair - or getting your other half to do it for you.

You can tell the difference between a professional haircut and some amateur hacking away with a pair of scissors.

Sometimes - not always. I’ve cut my own hair twice in the past few months and whilst there’s a bit of a difference I’m pretty sure that nobody would notice from a distance on the TV. That’s not to say that some footballers won’t have broken lockdown rules, but I’m sure some are competent, or have partners who are competent with a set of clippers.

Electric clippers are cheap and easy to use especially if you have short hair. A number 2 all over looks good and saves a fortune at the barbers

Yes, but they should probably keep their clothes on.
