Fire Stick help

I have just purchased an Amazon fire stick and last night we tried to watch something on Amazon prime video but was unwatchable due to the sound and picture miles out of sync. I have installed another app for watching films and that is ok. Has anyone had the same issue with prime video.

I just put this in google and lots of solution videos came up.

amazon fire stick. prime programmes sound out of sync

have firesticks and no issues at all, also use our Prime account directly through internet without a firestick and that works perfectly also.

Is everything you watch on prime video out of sync?
Make sure to test with content that isn't uhd, and is hd only.

I think I have sorted it out by turning the dolby digital plus off in the audio settings.....thanks
