Bloody hell - Buxton managed seven points from that lot.
The cream really has risen to the top.

When the picture with the ball is uploaded it's pretty obvious where the ball is ( should be )
Why can't I spot the obvious before making my choice ?

Dazzling play by Dazzler.
Unlucky to catch me on a lucky day
Not got 5 in any game 'til now.
A point each

Re: Scores, Results & Tables ***SPOT THE BALL*** Game 10
Where do we start?
Bobinho remains unbeaten but a third draw in four games has meant that OldClaret101 has leap-frogged him to the top of the Ralph Coates. ClraetBlue and Firthy both won but they remain the strongest two teams in The Ralph Coates. MOTD here has to be Dazzler's 5 - 5 draw with HunterST.
In The Brian O'Neil, Buxton is showing his former class and a 7 - 1 demolition of Conyoviejo has propelled him to to the top. BertieBeeHead and HuwYWatt both won but, as with The Ralph Coates, they remain the strongest two teams here. Surely, BertieBeeHead's current form must bear fruit soon.
Game 11 starts on Wednesday 1 July and end on Friday 3 July at 6pm
These are the Fixtures

Quality from me again, had I swapped the first and second images around I would have been ok. Heading for relegation. Well done Joe, thanks Ralph and Spot.Plus got a nice easy game next week. Are the opticians open yet?

Sorry to remind you Dave but our game reminded me of when we beat Don Revie's Leeds back in the 70's

Re: Scores, Results & Tables ***SPOT THE BALL*** Game 10
If you're referring to the actual scoreline (5-1), rather than just another defeat inflicted upon them, that was October 1968. A match I remember well... "The Ralph Coates Show"
Re: Scores, Results & Tables ***SPOT THE BALL*** Game 10
I was thinking of the 4-1 defeat in 1974. Not exactly the same score but equally shocking.

Re: Scores, Results & Tables ***SPOT THE BALL*** Game 10
Wasn't that one of only two matches they lost all season. I'd just started working in Leeds then and revelled in that result (or should that be Revielled?)Oh and thanks for that BFC tie you sent me a while back. I wear it whenever I want to wind up my Leeds supporting on-in-law.

Re: Scores, Results & Tables ***SPOT THE BALL*** Game 10
In '68 Leeds lost to us and they lost to Citeh (2-1). The 5-1 thrashing upset the Mighty Weeds far more than they wanted to admit. How could these "Burnley Babes" demolish "The Mighty Whites"? Perhaps they should have consulted Gary Sprake on that one. He had a 'mare!leedsdave wrote: ↑Tue Jun 30, 2020 8:53 pmWasn't that one of only two matches they lost all season. Re: Scores, Results & Tables ***SPOT THE BALL*** Game 10
Can we go back to the The Ancien Régime Ralph, my position looks a lot healthier.
Re: Scores, Results & Tables ***SPOT THE BALL*** Game 10
Yes that's the one where Paul Fletcher scored a cracker with an overhead scissors kick.leedsdave wrote: ↑Tue Jun 30, 2020 8:53 pmWasn't that one of only two matches they lost all season. They were filming a documentary about Don Revie at the time. The match and his reaction can be seen on it. It was called "The Don of Elland Road" Google it and if you can find it, it's worth a watch.
