Hands up...

Post by MACCA » Mon Jun 29, 2020 9:52 pm

Wow I hold my hands up, I'd written us well and truly off post match, even before the news of no Jay or Lowton.

I have to say I'm proud as punch tonight.
What a team our leader has formed at this club.

Great game of football, and its be a thoroughly enjoyable performance.

Well done Mr Dyche and our fantastic team.

We kicked off with nine players missing who would have been in the squad before the break - and we turned in a performance like that.

Hope you didn't put your(my) poker money on Palace for that free money.

Never ever doubt this team (except when we're playing at Man City).

I will second that! First half we passed the ball around like Barca or Citeh, 2nd half we were back to the Burnley we know and love. Brilliant, bloody brilliant all round performance :D

Brownhill seems to be quite a find as well :)

With the limited players the manager had then to go on and win is just incredible. The manager does this type of thing all the time. Not sure what Is happening behind the scenes but if we lose him then type of thing goes with it.

I'll willingly hold my hand up. We usually struggle against Palace and Zaha always seems to play well against us.

But that was Burnley against the world last night.

Tio be honest it had all the hallmarks of a 1-0 win as I predicted on our Whatsapp group. Sadly I never backed my convictions with a few quid with the bookies.
