100 days of lockdown?
What did Dyche say there? Missed it slightly. Didn’t sound good.

The dynamic of the group has changed.
I read it as not having hart, Lennon and Hendrick available along with injuries.
It’s a slight dig. But he’s just won another tough game and he’s playing poker with the board.

"The dynamic of the group has changed".
He actually said the dynamic of the CLUB has changed a very different statement in my view.

Worrying words from Dyche again after a magnificent performance where his lads gave him every ounce of effort they could.
If Garlick lets Dyche walk out, I don't think he'll ever be forgiven.

Either way. I think it’s a typical Dyche interview and just Dyche being naughty. (Cheeky).aclaretinstevenage wrote: ↑Mon Jun 29, 2020 10:23 pm"The dynamic of the group has changed".

Re: 100 days of lockdown?
He's doing a lot recently, I think we all know how he feels by now, so if he wants out he doesn't need to say anymore, only if he wants to stay, but telling the chairman what needs to be done. It's a shame, I think we are a couple of players short of being a very good side

What Dyche actually said was:
"The fabric of the club has changed somewhat in the last 100 days so that has been interesting to compute and make sense of"
By saying the fabric of the club has changed he was referring to the structure.
Make of that what you will.

Re: 100 days of lockdown?
100 days, that's roughly the length of time from when PL was suspended until re-start (maybe even exact count). So, instead of the Premier League season completing in mid-May, it has been extended until 26 July. No issue, except that player contracts end on 30-June, and some of our squad have not extended to see out the season. Alongside that, the club have paid out for wages for the 100 days of the lockdown, and, covid-19 means there isn't as much money coming into the club.
I don't think Sean had got his head around those facts, hence his "toys out of the pram" interview(s). Sean's a smart guy, he will work it out and he will sort things out with Mike Garlick.

Re: 100 days of lockdown?
Just as easily means that there is a new financial reality - I said last week that I thought Sean was still in the mindset of our finances in February not of the now and the world of right's holders/sponsor's rebates, of not being certain what next years central income will be, of a global economy in downturn and right's holders collapsing. Finances are far more unpredictable

It was quite funny that Logan, Dixon and Morrison referred to those words in their after match drawl and laughed it off saying they were all failing to understand what he was talking aboutkentonclaret wrote: ↑Tue Jun 30, 2020 12:02 amWhat Dyche actually said was:

Honestly, he loses me sometimes with the bull, but my take on this is just another sly dig at Garlick and their personal relationship.
There has been no change to the structure as far as I am aware other than the change in title of MG to "Executive Chairman" for which he may be now be taking a salary
Maybe, if true, Dyche does not like the idea of wages (no matter how relatively small) being spent on MG himself rather than on players with whom he could not agree new/extended contracts
