The youngest baby (on record) to survive is 23 weeks and 3 days after conception. A massive tribute to the advancement of science and medical technology.

Ben has been our captain fantastic over the last few weeks, to discover that he has done that while also copying with the emotional strain of a premature baby on the cusp of viability arriving in the middle of a pandemic  My thoughts are with wee Olive and her parents, I hope she is able to go home soon and hope we see her at the Turf one day. My very best wishes to the Mee family.

Still not out of the woods yet then! It's just amazingly that Ben could have gone through all that and still turned in the performances he has for Burnley. There's a lot of character there.

She is still not a full term baby even now had she not been a prem. At 24 weeks it is salutary to think that an abortion is legal at this time of gestation and used to be 28 weeks-so one can have the irony of fighting for a baby's life as in Ben's case and destroying one in another case. I have no faith but have always been uncomfortable with what in reality is abortion on demand, and I have seen some shockers including abortion because the family had booked a holiday abroad and Mum didn't want to be sick, 12months later having another child.
As others have posted Ben has been remarkable since lockdown given what has been going on and I hope Olive Grace avoids the problems so common in babies born at this time of gestation.David Da Silva's child was born at 25 weeks in 2018 and not sure how well the child has done although he looked quite a plump little fella when he was shown to the Man City crowd in late 2018.

Birth weight 1lb 2oz - what a fight she's had from day one. Good to see she's progressing so well and how good was our captain in that interview?

The lad embodies Burnley FC. He wears the armband with pride and is one in a long line of first-class professionals to have done so. We've been spoilt in terms of top class lads at our clubs in recent years.

Many of them are "top class lads" because of Dyche.
