Premier League table since we lost at Chelsea

We were beaten 3-0 at Chelsea on 11th January, a fourth successive defeat. The turnaround in form has been remarkable and below is the league table since that weekend.

The table looks like it’s a combo from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s....

If you take out Liverpool, it could almost be 1959/60 again.

When our goal there was disallowed I feared what that might do for confidence. How foolish. It galvanised us.

Take out the five goals shipped at Man City and that makes three goals conceded in nine games.

It looked strange looking at the away record as we had won 3 drawn 1 and lost 1, 5 for 6 against, and as Claretloup has said 5 of them were shipped at City, that is some form after Xmas long may it last.
