But you try and criticise one of them and they are so far up themselves you would think that you had just shot them.

Owners should be able to negotiate a riders fee at the end of a race and then they may then earn their corn.

Its like when refs rely on VAR instead of their own eyes and wait for external guidance instead of bloody common sense

Aidan said they watched the race at home and after 5 furlongs his son Donnacha said "Emmet wins here" knowing that the leader wouldn't be stopping or running out of petrol. The other jockeys didn't know that and thought that the leader would fall in a heap.

Experienced jockeys can judge the pace of a race though, they know if its a leisurely pace, which the 1st half of the race was.

That's why i don't gamble real money, i had a couple of decent nap leagues, and then the last couple I've been dire, fine playing for fun, but i wouldn't chance it for real.
