1-1 at Newcastle.

Big 3 points for Swansea earlier, they beat Wednesday 2-1, and are still in with a slim chance of a play off berth.

Boro 0 QPR 1 maybe Colin isn't the messiah they thought after all.

Boro - QPR 1 - QPR had lost the last 3 ! not much of a Warnock bounce. Them going down might make it more difficult for us to ship out Gibson

I don't think Boro could afford Gibson even if they stay up. I'd say the likes of Norwich, Watford, Leeds or Villa would be our best hope of getting shut.

Watford supposedly had an interest, let's hope that's still the case, i just want him out the building, but equally we want to recoup as much of our outlay as we can.

Thriller at the Hawthorns 4-2 WBA, in the last 15 minutes, the games have definitely stepped up a gear this week, perhaps because the end is in sight for those teams chasing promotion, and the games are running out for those fighting relegation.

Costly defeat for Boro, they might have to rely on Wigan being deducted the 12 points, to save their skin.

I wouldn't lose any sleep in Boro going down.

Think they'll just stop up, but today was surely a game they'd have been looking for 3 points, Luton & Barnsley have fallen back after good runs, and the rest are so tight it's untrue, could be a heck of a last day, and who knows what the final outcome of the Wigan fiasco will be.

Amazing to think we and Boro came up in the same season, and how quickly our fortunes have fluctuated since.

Could be right back where they started when the gates at Ayresome Park were padlocked. That cup win out of the blue at the Riverside was so important in retrospect!

We could do a lot worse, Dawson has been one of the few Watford players to emerge with credit this season, and he's the type of model pro Sean will relate to.

Villa fans were not the nicest towards us - they can do one and drop a division.

Sky Sports really getting in their stride now that the previous games have been dispensed with

...full hour analysis of Liverpool, manager and player interviews even discussing the lad Grealish...never heard them do that before! :?

Great finish by the lad, but one swallow doesn't make a summer, let's see if he kicks on now, or reverts back to his previous form.

Proper game this how there's only been 1 goal beats me. Can't see it finishing 1-0. City look shaky at the back even with Laporte in the team.

Had a proper dislike towards Bernardo Silva after his theatrical fall from Pope which ended up as a penalty a couple of years ago and he still falls to the floor at the drop of a hat which he has just done at Southampton the cheating git. VAR should be able to let the on field ref know that it was a dive and he should be booked.

I never called him pants MrTopTier did, but given they've spent 22 million on him, you'd expect more than 1 goal near the end of the season, and if BFC had spent a huge sum like that on a striker, i'm sure this board would be panning him for such a paltry return, now if he uses that strike as a launchpad then good for him, but even Marvin Sordell scored a worldie at Tottenham in the cup, and nobody thinks he was a good signing. So time will tell whether this is the start of a successful Saints career for Adams or a flash in the pan moment.

De Bruyne and Foden off the bench for City, they're really struggling for decent subs aren't they. :)

City lost again, that's their 9th league defeat this season, they are way off the pace this year, Southampton only 3 points behind us now, although they have Everton & Man Utd away for their next 2 games, so that'll be tough to collect points.

Dustbins 1 city 0. Why don't they play like that against us? Lumping balls into the box instead of the 1-2s they beat us with.

Strange game ain't it, we beat Saints twice, Saints beat City, and City battered us twice, that's what makes the PL the attraction it is, the results can be so random. Liverpool & Norwich apart, everybody can beat everybody else on a given day.
