R U glad that they decided to complete the fixtures?
Initially, it appeared that the players were struggling with the re-start of the Season.
Games were dour, to say the least.
Yesterday's Man U v Bournemouth game was a delight with some spectacular goals. And, I'd pay my Season ticket fee alone just to watch that Ben Mee goal over and over (BUT LIVE)

I don't know if the players are getting to grips with the return, but this week has seen the best footy since they came back.
West Ham-Chelsea- a thriller with a dramatic last minute winner.
Sheff Utd-Sours- had a definite edge to it, that's been missing from many games.
The Fleetwood game had everything you'd expect in a play-off and more, goals, red cards, missed penalty.
And lastly goals galore in the Champ yesterday, Oh! and Rovers play-off hopes died a death.
And despite all the doom & gloom surrounding BFC after the Man City debacle, we've responded with 2 wins on the bounce, and are still well in the hunt for a European place.
For the sake of the game the season had to be completed, integrity is essential to the sport, and i'd have even thought this if we were in the bottom few teams.

Yes I’m glad, as long it’s being done safely. The season now just needs to get finished safely and then things can be carefully planned for future football. I would think it very daft if they try to cram in every possible cup competition next year.

Re: R U glad that they decided to complete the fixtures?
It was always going to be a slow start I think because of the fact that the players were nowhere near fully match fit as well as them getting used to playing in empty grounds. It showed in the games in the first week or so too. There's no doubt that the level has built up since and the games are getting better as a result.
I do think it was the right decision. A lot of work has been put in by the 20 clubs to get their grounds ready and they are now getting the benefit of that work.

As above. Had to be completed for the integrity of the game. I always thought you can't tell from the first few games of a season as teams still get match fit and gel. This is like a mini league where teams are finding their feet as per the start of a regular season. Quite a few games at a start of a new season are similar to how this resumption of games have panned out. Rusty, lacking match fitness. Games have been getting better as players get back in the rhythm.
Re: R U glad that they decided to complete the fixtures?
It’s been pretty good tbh. People were expecting far to much in the opening first/second week. Players hadn’t played for months or trained properly in a sense that they had the same time off as a summer break and returned to training later. It’s also has a totally different feel for obvious reasons. Games are different. Less play acting imo. Also agree with G Neville. Players without the crowd backing them are reluctant to play the final ball. Lots more side to side. You can see the difference without crowds in the relegation battle. They’ve made a huge difference. I’d say the bottom pack could have a few more points with more crowd backing. But overall it’s been enjoyable. It would’ve been better had we not had Man City away in the comeback and if the title was also going to the wire.

Really pleased.

I’m pleased. However, how difficult is it to type “Are you” instead of “R U”...?

Glad it was done as when you look at Scotland and Hearts going down when may have stayed up we will never know .
I am still waiting to hear from anyone who thinks it should never have been completed .

Yes. It was the only option before a new season starts again, without devaluing the league.

The footballs been good. Some great goals. And the players seem to stay in their feet more and refs less pressured into needless cards with no crowds. In fact has there even been a red?
That said. Football is nowhere near the same game without fans

I’ve enjoyed most of it and whilst the pros are against it I feel the drinks/coaching break has stopped a lot of the unnecessary fake injuries that blighted the last 15 mins of both halves. The games have also changed after the mini coaching session. I know I’ll be alone but it’s a plus for me.

As much as I'm glad that footy has re-started I really hope they don't bother starting a new season until fans can come back in.
