Former Chief Exec. David Baldwin ....
I understand our former Chief Executive took up his new position as the EFL's Chef Exec. on the 17th June ... he was looking forward to this " exciting opportunity " ...
With curtailment, a short pre-season, Wigan's administration mystery, the EFL appealing against the lenient penalty imposed on Macclesfield, as well as everything else going on, it won't be dull ! Good luck, Sir !

The Wigan fiasco is a real bad 'un.
Easy to imagine a few in the EFL hierarchy looking around for some handwash.

Re: Former Chief Exec. David Baldwin ....
There was a thread the other day on this - I think Dave has walked into a major mess, even bigger than he could have ever imagined. A big loss to our club who has an incredible job on his hands now.

He has, but one thing on his side is that he’s bound to be a thousand times better than the previous incumbent.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Sun Jul 05, 2020 5:30 pmThere was a thread the other day on this - I think Dave has walked into a major mess, even bigger than he could have ever imagined. Why did he leave us ?
Re: Former Chief Exec. David Baldwin ....
He was tired of flying around the world signing all our overseas bargains, so now he's become our new undercover, Championship chief scout

He’s a big loss to us. I think that his diplomacy skills would have diffused the current impasse between Chairman and Manager.
