A couple of new quizzes

Post by tiger76 » Sun Jul 05, 2020 9:50 pm

As i know these are so popular, here's your new batch.

Quiz: How well do you know the world's national parks?https://www.wanderlust.co.uk/content/na ... 741f9df7e

5/17 for myself.

Quiz: Do you know these unusual animal group names?https://www.wanderlust.co.uk/content/an ... 741f9df7e

6/20 for myself

Best of luck you might need it :)

9 and 7.
Seriously, though, who makes that **** up for the second one? A loveliness of ladybirds? Why does it even need a special name in the first place and can we make our own up and put it on pub quizzes?
What is the collective name for mo salah, Jack grealish, Wilfred Zaha and the entire arsenal team if losing in the last 10 minutes:-
a) an outside toilet full of divers
b) a package full of, bellends
c) a club sandwich of cheats or
d) a bunch of overpaid, cheating *****?

You know you're a decent quizzer when someone is walking the dog and shouts across the road that they want me on their team. I can't be arsed.

You come across as someone who could do a job with kings and queens. Knowing who married who and when.

Does all of the above count as an answer

I know a little about a lot of things so my general knowledge is fairly good for quizzes.

I don't know a lot about any one thing except, perhaps, bridge and, possibly, English Language.

As for kings and queens, I get totally lost when the Georges start appearing :)

I can only speak from my POV, but I read something and remember it. Like I know about King Charles II and know a lot about what he did and when - and I didn't revise, I just remember it.

Quizzers will see the questions and remember what answers

Your ability to spell puts you in the top 5%. Any spelling query - you're the first person to come to.

Whoever thought up those animal group names was presumably taking something at the time!

7/9 not my best, those I genuinely knew were scarce and not much luck guessing.
